That was the first project that I remember after I got DirectTV to be able to access your show. I think I would agree with the "leave your tow rig alone" philosophy. Buy another Nissan XD Cummins and make it a dually. Either one would sell fast if you decided you didn't need both.

Trucks are crazy expensive right now but if you had to have a new tow rig what would you go with? Ram 2500 Cummins? Ford 7.3 Godzilla? Power Wagon with air bags so your tow rig could recover your trail rig? Build something from scratch?

Don't need another sticker pack. But what the possibility of turning the Titan into a dually anyways. Would be better than a ramp truck and still be able to drive it daily.

@@BigTireGarage I followed Kevin's build, and what a build it was! Great work and I love hearing your positive feedback on the XD Cummins platform. We have an '18 Midnight Edition that we haul our 36' Enclosed Gooseneck Car Hauler with every week! Average load is 10k lbs. to 14klbs. for the loaded trailer. We've been very impressed with the truck's stability, braking, and comfort. The 5.0 Cummins and Aisin transmission combo in a Class 2B truck is exactly why we decided to purchase it over another 3/4 ton Ram. It has been exceptional so far, for 5 straight years! Cheers!

On the titan, just build it how Nissan should have built. Dual rear wheel conversion and a gooseneck. Show us just how capable that drive train is.

Factory gooseneck on every XD except the S model. I have an ‘18 Midnight Edition and haul a 36’ enclosed gooseneck every week. By the way, if you haven’t seen it yet, Z1 OffRoad built a pretty bad to the bone Dually XD Cummins a few years back.

The Titan was rated only a couple thousand pounds more than most half tons, and came in at LEAST 5000lbs UNDER a comparable Dodge/Ford 3/4. It came late to the college party, was the only high schooler, and barely outdid (BARELY) middle schoolers. And wondered why it couldn’t get a date.
