My interpretation of Ecco’s verse “Someone like me, love me, touch me” and “Let me go you can’t hold onto a ghost” is them saying that they both desire and fear of intimacy. They want a feeling of connection and closeness with someone but don’t want to feel like they are burdening or “haunting” that person. That’s just how I always read it lol
