- London's latest vinous attraction, Hedonism Wines, has opened its doors to much fanfare. With nearly 5,000 wines and spirits from a price range of £15 a bottle up to £120,000 it is a wine shop with unlimited ambition. WSJ's Will Lyons explores.

the collection is nice but that wall of Chateau d'Yquem, Damn
Those large format bottles perched ever so delicately on their display racks would make me so nervous to walk past.
The only bottle of fine wine I ever had was in London. Well, the only bottle that was over $300 . That’s fine to me. I suppose I was privy to a $12,000 bottle at a dinner party in the Hamptons. My glass cost $1200. Wow. A bit above my means
Your 300 bottle would most likely be of equal quality to the ones in 4 figure plus territory, just not as collectable or rare. There is a ceiling to wine imo and many vintages would be likely corked (at certain degress) at this stage so it's not about the drinking anymore.
The store is fabulous and yes there are very affordable wines.
can we take pictures there?
Are those anti-theft devices on the top of the bottles?

I don't trust such a large collection of vintage wines concentrated in such a small area.. there has been many scandals in the wine world where a lot of these "rare" wines are counterfeits.
If it looks too good to be true, than it most likely is.. in this case either the owners of Hedonism Wines is looking the other way, or they are being swindled. Even counterfeit wines is big business these days, people just pretend it's the real thing. The ultimate "king is wearing no clothes" lesson.
