    I might find a use for the cloth effect but the gold for me in this tutorial is using the two plain effectors with the noise fields to make a loopable vibrate effect.

    A super useful way of thinking about mixing vertex maps and simulation. Thanks.
    I used to loop a cloth by baking it into keyframes and used Motion clip. I created a motion clip and then just copied it twice and mixed those at the timeline. It gave me a pretty nice control over the time of looping and transition.

    Hello? What version are you using? I'm currently using R26 and don't see surface on the menu also when you change it to balloon, the cloth tag doesn't change it's icon and there is no vertex map. Only vertex color shows. Can you help?

      It is C4D 2023.1, vertex maps on generators were introduced in C4D 2023, not R26 sorry!
