Nice review. What would be cool and extra with the Advanced Rear Seat Reminder is the Sienna would kick on the AC or heater to 70 degrees in the cabin. This would be very useful if a child or elderly is left in the van. 70 outside can cook the interior to over 115 degrees. Time is very precious. People who live and full-time in their Sienna already use this function when sleeping in their van. They set their thermostat to their desired temperature and the AC will kick on. The engine kick on as well to charge the battery. The van keys are obviously with the driver sleeping but in a situation where the driver leaves and a child/elderly is left inside then the car can activate the AC in an emergency mode till help arrives.
Thank you, Jeff! Excellent review as always! I love the Sienna and would buy it in a second if it wasn't for the antiquated safety systems. Very disappointing that Toyota would be so far behind on the ultimate family vehicle!
I wish the second row seats came out !!! Need to find a mini van that I can make as practical as possible with lots of room and hybrid so it can be a mobile home to go cross country. The refrigerator is a great option. If anyone knows a way to take out that second row, this would be a perfect vehicle !!!
Jeff, appreciate the 2025 Sienna XLE review. They only make the XLE this year in an all gray seating SofTex . All the trims above XLE are a solid black or mixed color but with black seat bottoms, unless you do a platinum trim. Not a fan of the interior seats color mix.Btw have a new XLE arriving after Xmas.
I used the toyota inventory website to purchase a 2024 platnium awd in Washington state. for extended warranty, I bought it at midwest toyota in kansas. warranty manager quoted me a lower price for a 10yr zero deductible warranty.
Nice to see the parking sensors as standard on the XLE. I have a 2019 and it doesn't have that. I am guessing this isn't the XLE Plus package on this one... Seems to be the only difference is the JBL system and that is it.
Is there still a 2nd row bench seat for the XLE model (as it was for the XLE and LE in 2024)? Where are the lower and tether anchors positions for families with car seats? 4 sets of lower anchors on all outboard seats? Since this is a minivan review, this info would be really helpful - thanks!
I bought a XLE a week ago and it is an eight-seater, the color is exactly like in this video and I have 3 seats in the second row, but for the convenience of my grandchildren I removed the middle seat. The odometer now shows 140 miles.
Give all trims the option of 8 seats - 2nd row bench is far from perfect - KIA, Honda and Chrysler have more less proper middle 2nd row seat.... Hope with new gen toyota will also give us childseat tilt, phev power and send it also to EU.
The 4 cylinder hybrid sounds like dookie, but the power is very similar to what the v6 was. These sienna are underrated because they don't show the true hp and torque specs with the electric engine.
Just got mine yesterday and I can’t stand the media center, particularly the radio. It’s so hard to navigate the stations, especially when driving! Also, rear seat reminder is faulty. I was the only one in it and after I got it home the first time, I got a notification that there was movement in the car but there was nothing in it… Plus, one of the door kick openings doesn’t work despite it being brand new I love the functionality, hybrid engine, and the operation of it, and the mechanical features, but the technology is terrible…
Dropped Easy Speak this year. Sucks! Anyone who transports third row passengers will attest to the need. Still available with Honda Odyssey, however. At least the new Sienna has a built-in beer cooler and a vacuum not quite as good as the one at the car wash or the one in your garage, but no Easy Speak.
You can’t easily. They have airbags and you have to full the computer with resistors. In theory everything should work but nobody knows for sure. I wish Toyota gave us this option.
My favorite car company for Best Everything is Toyota! But Toyota made gigantic error when not upgrade Toyota Safety Sense. It is STILL 2.0. Way behind - not even 2.5 - and definitely Not The Latest 3.0 BAD BAD BAD CHOICE
When someone "accidentally" leave a baby or child in the car. They're just evil. Flashing lights or text messages won't help. The safety feature should just roll the window down or send an alert to the police
Well honesty, all what you said about this upgrades is just more expensive garbage They keep jacking up the prices for this new cars which all garbage quality, few pounds of plastics and mattal with an ipad or phone screen and here you go 60 or 70k You know what, let them rust not buying any new thing

Thanks for the Bowie reference
Absolutely!!
It's easy to take the second & third row seats out, see Brad ling videos

How do you like it?
Nice , to know congrtz what was the quote if you can tell a ball park number 😀
Wow, this XLE has a lot of very cool features! If I had a family I would want this Sienna.

The eight seat configurations being so limited for minivan is such a head scratcher
They should also offer AWD on 8 seats not just 7 on XLE trim and up.
Is one of them bringing that HONEY of a 3.5-liter V6 back?!!!!
Let it go bro….regulations man…
Not sure people would want to go from the current 36mpg to the former 19/27 found in the old V6. Just sayin
Answer is nope 😂

@@teambooztThat 4 cylinder achieves 40% thermal efficiency which is BONKERS for a factory produced piston engine.

Thank you for the report
I didn’t catch it. Does the regular XLE model have touch less sliding door entry

I can't buy one if I can't get the second row seats OUT. So annoying!!!!
Easy take out
You can w/ some tools & a bit of knowledge…
Unscrew the bolts
roll up rear window shades are useless most people tint the windows. Even old 2011 Siennas have them
You can’t easily. They have airbags and you have to full the computer with resistors. In theory everything should work but nobody knows for sure. I wish Toyota gave us this option.
what do i do when i want to leave my dog in the van and i don't want the horn going off lol
Bro, get a letter from your doc. Rover is now an emotional support pooch and goes with you now 😅
❤
Most people has no connection in a metal coverd building like target, home depot,ikea,Walmart....so text message doesn't help

Too many mechanical packing compromises to make it smaller and less Useful than Odyssey. We are buying a 25’ Odyssey instead.
Beautiful vehicle. Just to expensive for my taste.
Nope! Thank you!
We deserve better minivans!
5:55 The people capable of leaving their kid in a hot car will not be owning this anytime soon
$1876 of distributor add ons, 👎.

Big body’s Small engine. It’s suck. I hope Toyota factory remake V6 gasoline engines a lot better.
