One hell of a machine. I hope this gains momentum. As much as I like the newer Escalades, this is a gorgeous SUV. I'm a single guy, no need for such a vehicle, but if I did, it'd be between those 2 for me.
@@josephsmith594 If Nissan is poor quality like you claim. Then what is Ford, Chevy, Chrysler, Land Rover, and Kia and Hyundai??? The Armada/QX80/Patrol are some of the most reliable vehicles on the road. That's literally all they buy in Dubai!! Lol, y'all kill me when y'all try to clown Nissan but want say a word about other brands. And please don't get me started on Chrysler!
@@theslowdude6983 Ford has a very good reputation. Chrysler/Stellantis are awful. Range Rover is somewhere in between. I don’t write Consumer Reports brother, just saying what I read. Nothing personal. These are generalizations, if your car is serving you well that’s great.
So hard to decide between this or a 2024 Escalade (not a fan of the 2025 Escalade dash). Wish the qx80 had a v8 not sure how well a v6 would be over the years hauling that much weight, is my only concern with the Infiniti
@Yabbadabbadoo728 The GTR motor have been around for over 15 years and have held up quite well under extreme high performance racing. This engine would be less stressed. You would be fine. You have a derivative of a Supercar engine in your SUV
The dashboard in the 2024 Escalade is horrible, with the two layers of display on top of each other. And the third-row window is horrendous: at the passenger’s shoulder in the Escalade, unlike to the front of the passenger in the QX80.

@@J.Wick. Nissan/Infiniti have poor reliability ratings. Probably better off with the Cadillac.
@josephsmith594 says who? I've owned a few. never an issue. this is the stigma that Nissan must shake. the cvt has nearly ruined that brand.
@@J.Wick. Comsumer reports, car reviews etc. Glad you have had a better experience, of course.

Would you take this over a base Range Rover (fulll size)?
I absolutely would.
