Me too broski!!! My favourite horror film of all time, better yet... MY FAVOURITE FILM! Truly terrifying experience on my first time of watching as a child. A videogame made for both Xbox one and PS4 with the up to date graphics and atmosphere would be phenomenal and scary. Alien: Isolation did a fantastic job of capturing the survival horror aspect so a game of The Thing with the same fear and dread would be perfect. I'd pre-order it the very second i was able too lol.
The playstation2 game was incredible and really had that same great element of mistrust and genuine discomfort that your buddies could turn against you. Would be good to see that again!
This was a great review in every aspect and I am not just saying this because I'm Carpenter fan. This board game could have easily been horrible but the creators stayed true to the movie. I cannot wait to get my hands on a copy.

The cards are bloody awkward to sleeve though! Some are really tiny

You say in the video it's reasonably priced, but I can't find this game online for less than $90. Is that reasonably priced to you or has the price gone way up?
A board game based on The Thing? Uh... why? What made the movie so damn good was the constant paranoia, and always knowing something was horrible wrong, but not knowing what. The monster itself was not really interesting. That doesn't really transfer well into a board game with human players.
