I love the Chargers. I've had 3 of them, but I'll be damned if I'd pay over $40,000 for one, even with a 6 and decent equipment. Forget about markups. I want a big discount.
One trick pony? Has performance, has 4 doors, a back seat, a full size truck, comfortable seats. Most performance cars have 2 doors, no back seat, a low tight front seat, no visibility, no trunk. These do pretty much everything well. What do expect it to go off roading?
I foresee thousands of new 2023's on the road this year rather than 2024's. Let them sit another year for all I care and watch the stealerships go bankrupt !
Unless you have a family and can only afford 1 car who would want a 4 door sedan? I don't care how many horsepower it has. I would only buy a 2 door car with the same horsepower.
Well, I mean, set aside the price gouging and all of the negative exposure dealerships have been getting .. these 2 specific rows show CHARGER models ... I can completely understand why real American Muscle Car enthusiasts wouldn't want anything to do with 4-door NON-MANUAL cars ..
What's there to understand with a company that has 10+ year old models with a little bit of new plastic and one of the worst engines (3.6 Pentastar) in most of them? Dodge/Chrysler has dug their own grave, Stellantis is just finishing what should have been ended after Mercedes got out. As long as the US brands keep churning out low quality "cars" that customers trade in after a short period and go to Japanese and Koreans, they will decline, not just Dodge.
Yes! Anybody with a logical brain would say, “maybe a $60k car is not worth the outrageous monthly payment, a depreciating vehicle, high insurance, and the shitty fuel mileage.”

If they want to sell these cars you as a consumer can negotiate a price since most dealerships agents work on commission and if they can't sell cars at manufacturers price they don't get paid commission only get paid by the hour base probably $ 15 hour commission rate 20% rate on a $15 hour job without commission take home pay weekly is about 600 or less after taxes take out without commission from not selling any cars in a month commission rate go down more including employees based pay a hour $9 hour

So this dealer can slowly sell these cars until Stellantis corporation comes up with replacement vehicles. They might as well be listed as 2024 as they weren’t built to the end of 2023 anyway.
