Nice mods! I love my AE-1200, and it's my favorite modded watch as well. I swapped out the amber LEDs for a blue one and a green one, but since that's all I did it looks stock until you light it up. Kind of a "sleeper" mod. I may get another one to do a screen inversion though, that always looks awesome.
I prefer the round shaped Casio watches but I learn a lot from these videos. I have some plans with a hand held computer and a Waveceptor which have faded LCD displays. It takes a year to collect tools and materials for a new hobby and meanwhile we can educate ourselves and get to know stuff which we should know before we destroy items and not after.

Hello, thank you for making this video. I really like how your watch turned out. I've been searching for about 3 months now for a polarizing filter like yours, but have not found it. I"ve ordered 2 types from 2 different suppliers and all of them were wrong. None of them turned my display green/yellow. By chance, do you know what type of polarizer film it is? Thank you.
Thank you for your comment! I couldn't find a film like that to buy as well. The one I used is taken of an old Nokia 3310, any other Nokia of that age would work too.
Swat Kats i used a scalpel to peel the original film off from a corner. Some force is required for peeling I must say. Then I bought a separate sheet of adhesive polarized film, get the right angle and cut the film to size. FYI

Nice mod and all, but beware that the AE1200WH watchcase is plastic and the grey paint will fade in a matter of 1 year if the watch is used as a daily.
My question is about the strap trimming you did. Was that because you wanted a larger overall strap width? If you had bought the perfect lug width strap (18mm?) would the rest of the strap also be 18mm, and look too flimsy? What was the full size of the actual strap you used because it looks great?
Hi, I wanted my strap to align with the bezels. In my experience 18mm straps look too skiny on Casio watches especially AE1200. So I used 24mm strap and trimmed it to fit the lug. Hope that answers you question :)
What did you do with the straps after cutting them in shape. Was that a soldering iron ? Was it for locking the fibres of strap so that they stick together and don't scatter from the cut edge?
Hi, I doubt you'll see this considering it has been a while since you posted thus video but I'll ask anyway. How do you remove the original strap on the watch? And how do you put in the new one than you.
I see everything mate haha... It's very easy. The strap is held by spring bar, you can google how to do it's much easier than explaining. It's best to use the spring bar tool but its possible to do it with a flathead screwdriver.
I keep coming back to this video for the song that starts at 4:40. Listened to everything I can find from ED-209 and didn't hear it. Shazam has been no help ☹Any chance you can confirm the specific track and artist?
What size of leather strap are you putting in there? I've been using 18 mm nato on my 1200, but it looks a bit odd since the original band is tapered with 18mm lug. Looking to buy maybe a 22mm silicone or leather strap for it so I can cut it to size.
