    These the same dudes that will love BI if he becomes a Sixer

    He is not skinny tobias those who call him skinny tobias knows nothing about basketball BI is a walking bucket NO just force him to play different role for Zion but if u let him focus on scoring BI is a killer..he just had a bad playoffs against OKC because he had knee injury a month before playoffs.

    • @11credible
      @11credible Месяц назад +3

      Knowing that he had a hard time playing with a ball dominant big in NO why would he be any better with embiid and Maxey. Especially coming off that injury and given the assets you’d waste to get him. It’s a big risk. Also I think the skinny Tobias comment comes from the fact that their shot profile is the same. Tobias was a bucket too when we got him. But it wasn’t enough at that cost

    • @padrino8852

      @@11credible nah tobias is not as good as BI, BI more shifty and creative something that tobias never had, BI carried NO from play in to play offs with bunch of rookie and sophomore its just that NO are Zioncentric franchise, plus BI can facilitate..signing a player like BI with a history of injuries and not having a good fit is definitely a big risk but you cant tell whats going to happen next who knows its too premature to judge.

    • @timstar28
      @timstar28 Месяц назад

      @padrino8852 I think he's more worried about the risk than BIs talent. Now, would he be a good fit? Uh, it's hard to say, but I think it could work. He's more of an inside the arc scorer, with average defense. Can he hit 3? Yup, but not that like. I think it would just be smarter to grab a handful of above average roll players that can shoot n defend and spread the floor. I do like BI, tho, so if we got him, I wouldn't be mad and would hope it works because this team doesn't have the best luck with bringing in big names. You can't really name 1 that worked out for the long run. You also need to factor in embiids window, so is this really this move that does it? We need to be very careful this off season.

    • @11credible
      @11credible Месяц назад

      @@padrino8852 not disageeeing there. He’s def more talented than Tobias was but when we talk old Tobias that was a fringe all star a few seasons ago, it’s not a wide leap. And again the comparison only comes from shot profile. It’s not so much about how they get shots it’s where. Inside the arc in the mid range, and somewhat reluctant on 3s. Talent aside that ain’t what we typically want

    • @11credible
      @11credible Месяц назад

      @@timstar28 I’d prefer the role player route. It’s like we can have Bi at 38mil or you can have Kuzma 22, Caruso 8, Drummond 5, miles bridges 12. I’d prefer the latter

    I can tell nobody on this show know BI game or actually watched him play. Ingram was fresh off injury and didn’t have that step back in his game yet in that playoff series against OKC. Ingram only downside is health. He is one of the best passing forwards in the league. He’s a 3 level scorer he can get to the basket his midrange is lethal and he can knock down the 3. He’s not a gunner he won’t take 20+ shots just because he can. His numbers went down because he took a backseat to Zion. As a good teammate he tried to do what’s best for the team and not his individual accolades. But what y’all forgetting is Ingram and Zion when healthy had Nola as the 1st-4th seed in the West 2 years in a row before injury made them slide late in the season. And may I add Ingram was the one who made Nola even relevant. He carried them on his back to the playoffs and took on the #1 Suns team where he averaged 27-6-6. Ingram is a student of the game and gym rat. Do some research….. all I know is watch what gets do to the non believers… LA traded him he turnt up in Nola and got his 1st All Star…. Wherever he end up they got an all star season loading and I said it 1st 😂😂😂 and ppl always say his defense but go back and look at Nola games… normally whoever he’s guarding gets up off the ball because of his length they don’t really attack him like that. But he could be more aggressive in passing lanes and help defense. But guys not out there tryna iso BI all night cause his lift can make up space if you beat em. Y’all seen him throw Wemby shot at the rim lol before you respond go watch Ingram footage not highlights and tell me I’m lying.

    Zion centric team . Stinks. So have at it. Embiid needs to adjust to others.because they crowd him in the playoffs. And playing off of him is useless full time. Play around Embiid. He is a Professional scorer he gonna get his. Saying that man name and zero points Tobias is disrespectful. He disappeared because they faded him out in the offense. I mean look at it. And Non chalant. Here we go. Is that Mopeyness part 2. Being sarcastic. He will dunk on someone. He just 💨. I can tell. Natural highs

    if you could pick him up just as a free agent on a decent deal I'd feel a little better about it. but having to trade actual stuff for Ingram is basically a non starter for me. he's not good enough to sacrifice cap space AND draft capital to have him as your third guy

    - got locked up by a guy who's 5 inches shorter
    - is not a playoff riser clearly
    - mentally soft
    - 190lbs bro tf? he's so frail
    - only averaged 4.5 rebounds against the Thunder, who are the 4th WORST rebounding team in the reg szn
    - is coming into his contract year (remember Tobias Harris?)
    - not even a fantastic 3-point shooter

      You want Brandon Ingram? Did you see him pout and get mad when he wasn't getting the ball? I don't think he's going to like being a third option. Plus, he needs the ball in his hand, which is going to disrupt Maxey. Toppin would be a good addition and Jones off the bench. But it's more important to get players that fit...

    • @WawaMarvel
      @WawaMarvel Месяц назад +1

      You can’t compare to the nuggets, but I get the point. We aren’t them. The difference is embiid. He’s not reliable. So they have to build a team not reliant on him. To do that, one of the guys has to be a legit second option type player.

    • @philly4lyfepostell850
      @philly4lyfepostell850 Месяц назад

      @@WawaMarvelThats my point about Embiid...we need to start thinking about who is gonna be Maxey's running mate when Embiid is not on the floor...which we know he most likely is gonna have some nagging injury at some point of the season...we can't afford to have old players with the same issues and Maxey having to catty the team by himself again...

    • @philly4lyfepostell850
      @philly4lyfepostell850 Месяц назад +1

      @@brandoni241Ingram would have the aggression that Tobias never had...he wants the ball...Joel and Maey want someone who is aggressive. How many times when Embiid was out did Maxey try to get him involved and Tobias was unreliable or not aggressive?...plus that's why having a floor general who gets others involved and doesn't turn the ball over like Tyus Jones, who has a 37% career 3pt clip as your starting guard works...turnovers killed us down the stretch in the playoffs
