- I am back to using Flylady Routines again. My favorite thing about the Flylady Weekly Home Blessing Hour is that it motivates me to get my weekly cleaning done very quickly. I'm still doing basically the same thing, but quick. It doesn't have to be perfect.

Okay I gotta tell you this is probably my favorite video of yours to date. I love how you just get right into it. I’ve been following you here and on IG for a few months now and your videos are my go to when I need a spark. I found you when I was searching “Fly Lady” videos back in November ‘21. The way you break everything down is exactly what I needed. I came for the “Fly Lady” tutorials, but stayed for the easy going personality. Watching you clean as you’re telling your viewers what your doing is probably my favorite thing about your videos. Watching someone behind a desk playing music just doesn’t motivate me. So I come here instead. I do love her message though, and how she brakes down the zones. Anyway after I had watched all your early fly lady content, I started going through and watching your other videos. Because of you I am now using the E-cloths and I’m a proud owner of the Passionate Penny Pincher Planner too! I loved your video when you showed how you combined FL with the PPPP. That was much needed for me. Thank you!

Nicki, I have just implemented the side tracked home executive box with fly lady, clean mama, recipes , appointments all systems in one! Bible study too! The Bible study I have made 4 index cards . One card for Psalms, one for Proverbs they both recycle through the year. Third card is Genesis and last is Matthew. I write out the numbers for the chapters with erasable pen and after I have finished that chapter I put a comma after the number to indicate that I done. I am loving it because I don’t have to write out everything all the time. The recipes I just pick 5 to 7 cards including leftover card and put it in those days. I love this because it is easy to change around.

when do you clean your toilets tubs, etc? I feel like I could never vac, dust, mop in an hour. What am I missing here? Love the video!
Toilets are daily as part of my morning routine. Showers are once a week as part of my weekly home blessing. The more I have done this, the faster I have gotten. It really only takes me about an hour.
Your videos are so helpful in helping me understand the fly lady system. However I still don't understand the weekly home blessing completely. Is this something you spend 15 minutes per day on?
The weekly home blessing can be done 2 ways. You can spend about 1 hour and do these tasks quickly all at once. OR you can divide the task into a few tasks or 1 day a day over the course of the week and spend about 10-15 mins each day. Do which ever one works best for your schedule. I hope that helps.

Ok, great information! Question: On this system, when are all bathrooms being cleaned fully (tub, shower, etc.) weekly (as bathrooms that children/adults are using daily) need to be cleaned weekly? I’m asking since daily cleaning or zone cleaning (unless you’re in that zone) covers this (and would mean you’re not fully cleaning a bathroom that lives in different zones only once a month).
The Flylady System: Sinks, toilet, counters are wiped daily. Showers are cleaned monthly during Zone Cleaning.
I like to clean my showers more frequently. I do a quick shower clean weekly or bi-weekly and then a deeper clean when I’m in that zone.

They were a Facebook Marketplace find. They were old and solid. I painted and recovered them.

How do you wash your ecloths?
Hottest, longest setting on my machine with a little bit of powdered Tide. No fabric softener. Hang to dry. I also only wash with other microfiber, not with regular cotton towels.
