It’s kind of funny how I bought a Phaze 2 and iq so I had something for fresh and transition and now I’m starting to see the gaps in my bag after bowling for a while this actually helped a lot

Thanks for covering terms like weak and strong. A lot of videos intended for new bowlers use terms that new bowlers don’t understand. I notice this the most on Brad and Kyle’s videos. They’ve been great as I’ve gotten a little better with lingo and knowledge but yeah thanks you!

Can you do a league (3 game) bag/arsenal for house shots? It's pretty typical for a lot of folks to bring just 2 balls for 3 games. Some bring 3 and a few bring a truckload lol. Im thinking a 3 ball arsenal for league what do you bring Darren?

I bought a storm electrify following your ball review I’m working on it but still struggling to hit the pocket , miss left a lot is there a tip for better controlling of it ?!
Why do you prefer the Hustle M&M over the Hyroad Pearl for moving left when the front part of the lane starts to dry up?
I wish I could afford an arsenal close to that. I usually bring 2 bowling balls to the alley, on a good night maybe 4.

I would really like to know what I'm looking for before i transition from ball to ball in a 3 games series. I currently run a Phaze 2 for the first game and a half (give or take) then finish the series with the Zen. I have a Widow 2.0 in the bag as well but I haven't found myself needing it since I got the Phaze 2. Looking for a friend.
For a speed dominate lefty on old wood with broken down lane oil my arsenal is badger with a strong smooth layout like a 60 x 4-3/4" x 30 duel angle layout, the badger will be ball one then hyroad x pin under middle finger, the gold honey badger to ball down to from the badger, dark code , 2 IQ tour emeralds w different layouts at a different surfaces, the IQ tour solid with a one inch pin, and my best ball that I know and love is my zero gravity I can throw that everywhere on anything.
Did anyone notice that Darren and the ball card said Fast Pitch, and the picture was a pitch blue?😂😂😂
Could you put surface on blackout and use it as a 1 ball or is the cover to clean for that?
Darren what's your opinion on the Tropical Surge balls? Very affordable but I've seen PBA regional players throwing it in tournaments with great success

I don't have very many bowling balls. I was thinking about getting the Virtual Energy Blackout since I don't have any asymm balls yet. I am also In need of a stronger ball. I currently have none. Hopefully this ball can fill both of those gaps and be very good for me.
I grab a tropical surge for dry lanes. Is that comparable to the hustle, maybe a little weaker?

I've got 8 new balls, 14 lbs, 2 absolutes (1 polished with weak layout, and 1 dull with strong layout) 2 Summits (Same with the Absolutes), MIX, HY-ROAD, Zen U, Pitch Black.

Should do a video on how many different variations of balls you can put into a 3-5 ball bag. Mix up balls, explain that you can manipulate any ball to do what is needed but also input that certain balls can help, I say a 3-5 ball bag cuz most ordinary people or even bowlers won’t have all of the new balls to slam into a bag

I think this is more on building an arsenal with newer stuff. Darren's tournament line up I believe is similar to mine. It's a cookie cutter build. Infinite physix>phaze 2>zen>iq tour solid>hyroad pearl>pitch black

So, last Friday night, I did a bunch of practice bowling (about 10 games). Then my friend shows up, we bowled another 8 games together. By that 17th game the lane pair was getting pretty burnt up and I was having a bit of a time getting consistent shape without over hooking. I was throwing my Zen Pearl at that time (my weakest ball). I told my friend "I'm going to make a RADICAL ball change, I'm changing to my Proton Physix, my strongest ball". And keep in mind, I JUST resurfaced all of my balls in a ball spinner, back to factory the night before. My best game of the night was that last game. I moved a little bit to the right with my feet, rolling over 13-14 board at the arrows, rolling about 2mph faster than normal and reducing my axis rotation to probably around 20 degrees (going up the back of the ball more). WHAM baby!!! .. Threw strikes the front 6 .. spare .. 3 bagger .. spare .. goofed up the 10th (was getting tired). But man, what a ball change!! .. I thought I was being absolutely crazy making that ball change like that. Perhaps Mr. Tang can explain to me a little bit why it worked out so well. I know that ball and setup (target, throw) would not have worked earlier in the night, and I would think as much as we burned up the lane that my Proton Physix would not have been a good choice, but man, it was freaking perfect! .. some of the best strikes I have ever had! .. flush, flush, flush .. time after time! .. had I not been so tired I could have had a SUPER good score, perhaps my first 300? .. it was amazing .. Darren .. why did this work???

My bag currently has P2, Duo, Pitch Black. Lookingvto add the M-M (makes money) to the bottom of the bag and an Eternity 3.14I for the top of the bag
Got the Hustle M-M. It fits well at the bottom of my bag after knocking the shine off of it. I may add a VE Blackout as another middle bad ball and a Magic Gem for the top of the bag. Those would be more for tournament play where there are longer game formats than a 3 game league.

Do you coach? Ive been bowling here and there but lately ive got an itch for bowling ive been bowling at south point for the past couple days, and i dont know what it is but i have an urge to get better and bowl in a league and maybe one day bowl next to you

everyone is building arsenals and im just out here once a month throwing a specter cracked 3/4 around it, a motiv ball and a purple/black mix.. all marketplace purchases and none drilled for me lol

!Q series of balls, as well as the core in the new Summit..

2-hander, 16-18mph, 500+ rev rate
For house shot:
1. Eternity (drilled strong and highly angular so that when sanded it reads the oil and then still gets off the spot, very unique shape that not many will like but I do, definitely not ball 1 on sport)
2. Phaze II (benchmark obviously)
3. RST X-2 (same idea as the blackout)
4. Revenant (still same idea as the gold label but a little weaker overall, need to drill this one stronger, would recommend the same balls in the vid over the revenant because of the slightly stronger cores)
5. Hustle RIP (I can always use this when nothing else works, I have a hyroad pearl too but I haven’t had a lot of success with weaker cover syms, probably going to drill them stronger soon)
6. Ice (need plastic to hit spares)
