I think it has a better roster and stats.
I'd say 97 too if I had to JUST pick one. But honestly all of them are fantastic.
snafu xxx a year late but considering how cheap all of them are. Get all of them. Each game has it's its own reason to play. Some gameplay twist that makes them all worth it. Unfortunately, these games were all inferior to the Genesis versions. They played alot smoother and ran faster.
I love how they kept playing Kalinka for most of the second half of the game. I'm not sure why they even put that song in the game, but it's an awesome Russian song.
Oh man , this game brings me back to some fun times . When I played against the St.Louis Blues , the organist would play When The Saints Go Marching In before the opening face off . We didn't have announcers going the play by play like we have in today's NHL games , but who didn't love listening to the organist during game play .
The best is if the sharks get a power play at home they play the jaws theme.
Loved to hate Colorado back in the Roy Forsberg Recchi Claude Limeaux days. Those red wing Colorado series were best sporting events ever
