Day 2: Join me for the second hunt of the '23 bowhunting series! I hunt one of the last remaining corners of a standing bean field. I dive in with hopes of encountering a wide buck I knew from the previous season or a giant 10 I've had multiple years of history pursuing. After finally getting setup, I am thrilled to see which buck enters the field first. As the evening progresses, he slowly starts working my direction and now I have a decision to make... shoot this buck or hold out for the big 10.

Zip code and neighborhood are the first thing I consider when passing deer like this buck. He just happens to be in a great spot to get another year of age and I’m inclined to bet on him to make it.
