- This week in the shop we highlight an epic Defender 110 build that was recently completed at our PA location. This rig showed up basically stock and is leaving fully modded and ready for anything the trails throw at it! We're big rover fans here at MLO and had a great time watching this vehicle become an epic overloading rig. Make sure to like, comment, and subscribe to see more Land Rover content from Main Line Overland!

Nice work, guys!
Real real cool. Love the new defenders.
Yeah they are pretty trick, and this one is next level
Wow,looks awesome..well done guys
That’s an awesome build.
Thanks Preet!
That thing is badass
Yes it really is impressive when lifted like this 👍
If you're looking for ideas for further mods, I'd like to see the factory cargo separator behind the front seats and the back seats replaced with a flip up tool boxes.
Very Nice !!!😁😁😊👍
With time ,overlanding enthusiasts are going to appreciate what a Good work has Served them with in this New Defender make. the stature, offroad ability and the typical new silhouwhete. Its collectors item for variety of reasons. Huuuuuhaaaaa.
Looks Waay Better than Standard !!!!
And the Sill Height is now at the wheel centre for optimum approach and departure
Yes amazing what a difference it makes!
4runner on the other hand doesn't need much relocate brackets and triming to mod up as much as the defender has to do. The stubby bumper (winch and BJ light bar compatible) viper cuts or full bumper cut off in the front, rear swing outs, sliders like steps (harden sharp woods can't poke through and damaged your door seals) suspension lift availability for fitting bigger tyres (33s/35s) easily Serviceable etc. etc..
So, thanks for the video. A few comments/questions. Is there an impact on braking performance to put on smaller callipers? Is there a compliance issue? If not why isn’t it factory? No second battery installed. Is that because there were no significant electrical system mods (except the winch) or another reason? You guys don’t need diff breathers or is it not needed on this specific vehicle? I’ve got a pretty Aussie head when it comes to this so you guys probably have way different priorities. Thanks
Looks great! Love my P400 on 35's 😎
hi i have a p400 too where did you get 35 inch tires never modded a car do you have any tips
@@simplyv4186 talk to Jaustonfab about their subframe lifts.
Like your upgrade, could share your costs? Enjoy your beast
Would love see the difference in air suspension levels, Access to full Height.
Cheers guys 🇬🇧
We will try to get some more footage when it is back in the shop next time 👍
How is the awning attached to the oem roof rack?
After lifting upto 4 inch . Can you adjust the height of suspension ( can you lower it and increase ) , or is it standard after the 4 inch additional height ?
After all the changes, what is the ground clearance?
now do the Rubicon Trail
Portals not available?
Looks really nice! What did you guys do to relocate the radiators?
Used brackets from Saltek Motorsports.
I lifted it with 2 inch lift and 33 inch tires. Now I get "ok to drive with caution. Suspension will raise when system cooled" error. Can someone help? Mine is a 2020 first edition defender
Dang!
Dang indeed!
Good to see North America embracing the new defender, all the dinosaur off road enthusiasts over here have dismissed it as a soccer mom truck and nothing more. They are pinning their hopes on the Grenadier.
It’s a capable platform, and these mods literally elevate the new Defender to the next level.
Sure is an awesome D5
Yeah landrover lost the plot with letting go of the iconic shape. Its like forcing men to wear a skirt and say "hey its more aerated, better materials, performs better than your jeans" wont work no matter how much better it performs. Grenadier all day anyday.
@@vzo8049 not a chance, ugly Chinese style Land Rover wannabe.
@@vzo8049 I take it you’ve never been to Scotland…lol
Great work … what are the ground clearance figures?
15inch
Dreamy
Why don't you use portal axles?
That option is not available yet
price?
The only thing missing in this amazing modification are steel rims. The new Land Rover Defender should have come built this way right from the factory, unlike the original factory vehicles that usually have low profile tires, and a lowered bodies.
That's due to the rules and regulations
@@cmtexperts4825
I didn't know that it's mandatory to have low profile tires.
@@michaelopere5424 it's due to safety of others and driver that's why
Actually the maine problem for defender is it's origin UK
They could have carried out the old defender but the regulation said that it needed round front bumper which was gonna ruin the car heritage so they changed it and can't do big tyres like Wrangler due to other reasons
@@cmtexperts4825
The old Defender was a tool.
I really don't mind the new Defender though, it is a very brilliant off-road vehicle,it's also cheaper than it's, competitors.
Limb raisers? 🙄
TOYOTA🤮🤮🤮
I dont like the position of exhaust….easy to hit it
