Hi there and thanks so much! I think negative reviews can be constructive but if we have them we can do them in meaningful and more personal ways. When it comes to my channel, I simply don't see a reason to bash books. There are too many good ones out there to focus on the bad. :)
I hate how book summaries give things away that I'd rather discover on my own. I find books are doing it more frequently. Great review. We had very similar thoughts on the book. ✌🏻
I feel the same! I often do not read the summary until after I've read the book or when I'm actually giving my reviews for this channel, so frequently my responses are pretty genuine to how they are written. If I'm confused by a book, I may go find the summary to see if I am missing something to try and make sense of it but I am glad we had similar thoughts on the book!
For my writing hobby I definitely enjoy negative reviews but as a reader im SO glad about your stance on positive reviews. Glad I found your channel!
