@@BoardGameBollocks this is a good way to "train" friends up for more complicated games. Start em on dominion (deck building). Get em playing waterdeep (worker placement). Soon you can teach complicated games by referencing the simple ones.
Has anyone tried to houserule the beer? Like after using idk 6 beers you are now drunk fall and hit your head on a table and lose half your health? Could just use a few it's to track beer usage. Idk. Thoughts?
Yes I would agree - it is Ok. Played it in my old group when it came out, not since and have not been tempted to buy a copy but I will agree to play without qualms if anyone proposes it.
Still think it’s one of the best gateway games for high player counts! Comes out often with my friends group and agree has crazy replayability been playing it regularly for about a decade. Also, highly recommend the Old Saloon expansion eliminates the elimination prob
It was never a hit with my students and it's not as simple as it seems. I had to simplify it for my students: no character cards, no renegade cards, no arrows.
Bang gets played regularly in my game group. Never played the dice version, but was always interested. Thanks for the video.
It amazes me how you can figure out so many games. Thx for the honest and direct manner you present these games.
Mechanics tend to repeat in different games so once you understand how they work you just rinse and repeat when learning a new game.

Found the game Bang! Walking Dead with an expamsion for $6 dollars at a thrift store. Much fun. Definitely got a lot of Bang for the buck.

Really enjoying your reviews... thanks.
👍🏻
I advise to play right away with Old Saloon expansion. Switched from 6/7 to an 8/9 for us as filler. 5 players minimum though.
The only thing that pisses me off about that game is that I'm unable to get the game + expansions into one box.

20 mins lol - i've had the card game go on for an hour and a half
😲😲😲😲
The card game makes a fantastic drinking game (very thematic cards). But yes it makes it very long...
