I have the Salamandura SV TW 70 (tatula SV TW 70 with CRBB and Drag Clicker), it throws power finesse well, but I find that it is overbraked slightly heavier bait like 1/4oz and heavier. Is the tatula 70svtw similar?
Hey. Thinking about adding a Tatula to my lineup in the future, will mostly throw chatterbaits on it. Do you think the 103 is the way to go? So many models with Daiwa it’s a bit confusing.
Thanks for the great video, I just subscribed to your channel. I have a set of new 8 3 4 and 10 3 4 bfs micro bearings are those the correct size spool bearings? And do u know if Ali express or another place I can buy a bfs spool for the Tatula SV 70?
I bought all new reels for black Friday, i went with SV TWS daiwa reels, 2 out of the 5 of them started making noises while casting, All reels were brand new out of the box, have you ever experienced this?
@@skeeterboy77 thinking it was dry bearings put some oil in the inside (right side plate) and the spool bearing, also put some red hot sauce grease on that worm gear guide/tooth and the noise went away, someone told me daiwas reels that sit long term on shelf's in retail location are often not likely to have much oil/grease from the mfg. Not sure why, but the problem was fixed, just wondering if you heard of such a thing?
Just got the sv 70 and can confirm, definitely general all-purpose and finesse!
Nice vid bro the 70 is also a good reel for flipping and pitching where u don't need alot of line awesome reel
Yea it would work there as well..
Nice review Trey , been waiting for someone to review the 70
It’s a nice reel..
Seems like SV TW 103 vs SV TW 70 is a similar comparison to Tatula 100 vs Tatula 80.
Don't the silver creek and alpha reels have full floating spools? I know the tatula, coastal, etc do not.
They do..
The 70 just feels good. Definately see another in my future. Might replace the SS SV for jerkbaits
Yea I love the size..

@@PacSalt_TeachMetoFish most of the SV reels are “over braked” typically.. I haven’t had the sala in the shop yet..

@@skeeterboy77 cool thanks!
Great video!!!
Would the 70 work better for throwing the jackall 1/2 compact frogs on 30lb braid.
I went to the store today almost no difference between the 103 to the 70
Have you seen the New Steez Limited 1000S (shallow edition) come your way yet?

What kind of noise? Could be dry bearings, tension knob too loose
