@@detaart Seems like you dont undestand where is the problem of high rpm (the other guy neither), is the mass of pistons and conrods, thats why small (and lightweight) piston and conrods in motorbikes can arrive to high rpm, but less torque anyway.

I'm pretty committed to leaving my 2010 Evora NA, which means a good NA build. My other car is an E46 M3, and a high revving NA with ITBs is near and dear to my heat.
This one just barks like those older v12s with some whine from either s/c or sequential tranny. I've only heard a 155 v6 in youtube tho and they just gloriously howl and almost screams

The fact it's not a racecar shows that there is no anti roll bars to limit weight transfer, so when the power comes down to rear wheels, the weight goes full on the rear axle and the car is probably very light in front since the engine is mid/rear so the car lifts and loses contact
@@bigmemer4398 They'll have more power from the mgu-k and hopefully the cars will be smaller and lighter, so i don't if they'll actually be slower. Probably not by much anyway
The Exige and Elise are being retired this year so we won't see one of those in any GT class unfortunately, but maybe their next car, whatever replaces them, will have GT racing in mind. Personally I see them as being more suited to GT4 than GT3, kind of like the KTM X-Bow.

I love this whole setup. Sounds amazing and i love the throttle blips upon downshifting. I can't really tell if the driver is doing that or the ECU is? @2:18 i hear it blip but his foot doesn't seem to be on the throttle...

this reminds me of The Crew, a game that has stupid broken tuning when you came to the endgame. The Exige is available as a Performance spec and it tops out somewhere at 600hp while having just shy 900kg. its stupid fast, a tuned Huayra is the only threat to such a monster....
You know Group 5? Ford Capri Zakspeed had 650hp and weighs 870kg, that's the beginning of the 80's. Who knows what could be possible today? I say group 5 because it's somehow quite close to original 🙂
9k, that's some serious rippems for a supercharged engine. Surprised they didn't go turbo, even if it lagged to 3k you would still have a 6k powerband which is plenty for the track, less engine stress, lower center of gravity, cheaper. I guess it wouldn't sound as good though.
Looks like the upgraded harrop supercharger was probably on the old setup so they kept it plus alot more liner power. Also might just prefer how it drives and the response

The Lancia Stratos rally cars make the best V6 sound in my opinion, this Exige sounds very similar. The exhaust system is a work of art too.
