took a quick glance at the thumbnail, knew instantly this was a witcher sword! realisticaly, the grip on an actual sword should be rectangular or oval in cross section which would help with blade alignment - that's how the swordsman would know where the sharp edge is pointing - but other than that this is a really solid prop design. :D
The crossguard is the only thing that looks a bit off, because it's so fat to fit that battery. But everything else look amazing, always blows my mind to see what you can do with foam Odin!

With the Rocketlife system it works really well. On your phone you select which device you want to connect to, Bluetooth or Wifi. I have been in their office and they have like 50 running, without cross contamination. There is a pairing step first, so the units are safe from just anyone grabbing the app and controlling your lights. And the system does so much more than just LEDs. It's all off the shelf compatible parts too. Only the blue box or bare bones chip is proprietary.

Yes, there are historically accurate swords like that in real life. They are called Two-Handed swords and Hand-And-A-Half swords. They were used for unseating horse-riders when they are at full gallop. Literally skewering them on the sword. Anduril, the reforged Narsil, from LotR is a Two-Handed sword of this type. Many of them were expensive to make, like medieval armor, so they were passed down.

Its more of a wear vs. strength vs material. I was considering just gluing clean leather on and painting it silver, like I did on Mjolnir.
