ThunderAnt he’s was kinda doing the wrong things but for a good reason. You are right, but his bad decisions for doing what he thinks is right makes it tragic
There are moments in this movie where Raimi was controlling the movie, and moments when the manipulative studio was. This was definitely a moment where Raimi controlled it :)
@@davidstone281 while I’m not saying the whole movie was terrible (I’d give it like a C+), I just believe it had a lot more potential. If the studio didn’t interfere so much, this movie could’ve been so much more :(
Say what you will, everyone. I think that this whole film was great. This score alone was enough to give me the feels. At least it was still the right spiderman...
The only things I wish they did differently were to introduce eddie brock and Gwen in like the 2nd movie. It would've given a good character development to them
The thing that’s perfect about the Raimi trilogy is that every villain has a personal connection to Peter. Whether it be the real killer of his uncle, the father of his best friend, or a mentor/role model to Peter, all these villains were in these movies for a reason and weren’t just there as someone for spider man to punch in the face. They are actual characters that you care about and that you don’t want to see turn evil.
@Vinny Santorini ;] Which really kinda fits, considering Raimi said he never wanted to add Venom in S3. So it's no wonder why Eddie feels like such an odd man out.
Eddie Brock is meant to be the dark mirror of Peter. Someone who never had an Uncle Ben to teach the importance of responsibility; thus making him a vain, narcissistic, arrogant, and materialistic ass of a person.
The thing I love about the Spider Man Villains in the Sam Raimi trilogy and what he does so well is that he understands that these villains aren't pure evil, and really gives them time to be fleshed out as characters and seeing the humanity in them. I doubt that the upcoming Spider-Man Homecoming movie will have a villain as fleshed out as the ones in the trilogy.
I agree and that fact about the villains is one of my top three reasons why I like the Rami Trilogy more then the TASM movies. And even though I doubt that Spiderman Homecoming is going to give that same exact sentiment that the Rami movies did for the villians, I'm kinda hanging onto my intrest to see Micheal Kenton's portrayal of Vulture.
Its why I have a hard time calling Sandman a villain as besides being someone for Spider-Man to fight he is just a man trying to help his sickly child but doing it in a bad manner as luck forced his hand in a sense. “I’m not a bad guy, I’ve just had bad luck” really does summarize Sandman perfectly.
this song perfectly encapsulates those hard times, with the soft sorrowful music. and then 2:34 comes the time when you stand back up, strong and unbroken!
But there's always that part thats still reminds you what you don't have or enjoyed. None of us can get rid of that original part of us, we just have to get used to it, but the sad part kicks in again.
This entire movie is perfect, the only flaw was too many viallains, but still the depressing moments, relatableness, you would think spidey has the best life bcuz he's a superhero, but he has personal problems that makes being a hero a problem, but he can't let his uncle down, with great power, comes great responsibility. Amazing movie
I think once Marvel Studios started pushing out their own Spider-Man and incorporating him with the rest of their cinematic universe, some of us looked back and realized just how special the Raimi Spider-Man films were, flaws and all
Spiderman : 9./ 10. Spiderman 2: 10/ 10. Spiderman 3: 8/ 10. Sony cancelled spiderman 4 for the amazing spiderman. Come on Sony. The amazing spiderman has such good actors, but have bad writers as hell
This was by far the best scene in the movie/well besides the scene where spiderman forgives sandman. no joke the music made me cry when I saw this movie
Sadness, hope, determination, resolve and to top it all off, a menacing end. The birth of a villain has never felt so triumphant, absolutely gorgeous scene and one of my favourite in cinema
This scene was great but it wouldn't be as beautiful without this theme. It fits it perfectly, captures the mood and it's touching, especially when Flint sees the medallion his daughter gave him. How it didn't receive the Oscar is incomprehensible.
How can you have a movie so bad and filled with sadness, yet have an amazing villain (including the birth scene) and such a well orchestrated track? I will never know.
Criminal that they never released the OST! 13 year old me looking in the Barnes and Noble CD section for SP3 soundtrack...never to find this incredible music until years later
Man, I was really enjoying this movie when I rewatched it recently. The story, the arcs, the characters. The scene when Marko became Sandman was beautiful and emotional. Then Venom appeared lol. IMO, thsi movie just needed 15 to 30 minutes more to develop Venom and for a fight with just Venom and Spider-Man before the final battle. Venom would lose and realize they needed help to defeat Peter.
This was my 1000th liked video. In a sense it eases me because its such a beautiful score. It also soothes me because "I thlammed my penith in the car door" was close to taking that title
U can say all u want. This movie was god damn perfect and the whole trilogy is better than all MARVELs movies combined. Even the thumbnail looks badass
No. They only use the composers they can afford. Michael Giacchino etc. They studio mandate the scores because they want to play it safe for families. Elfman, Young, Horner and Zimmer all have personality that MCU music doesn't. No style and all done in medium shots. It's poisoning and toxic to the genre IMO.

ThunderAnt He had the saddest story
Rishem Bhogal yea, but he doesn't make good decisions tho :/

Such a shame that the Spider Man 3 scores By Young never got an official release.
