I also like the idea of getting a full movie where Peter wears the black suit, without having to get rid of it before the final act. Hell, taking the suit off could’ve BEEN the final act. The emotion in the scene, no words were spoken, but you could understand how Flint was feeling this whole scene, what I really liked about this scene is how the music just "spoke" the emotion for him, and how his sadness of seeing the picture of his daughter, remembering his goal, how much he's determined to do whatever he can to get her back to health, this scene is a musical masterpiece in my opinion, I love it.
Edit: Also idk why but this should definitely be added to an ASMR in movies video, just saying =0

The problem with Venom was is that he became such a popular character during that time which explains why he was forced into the movie and Sam Raimi didn’t know anything about him so it’s understandable to see that he didn’t want to include a Villain that he barely knew which is why he never wanted him at all in the first place and Sony had to ruined Raimi’s vision for Spider-Man 3. And by looking at this scene here Raimi was going for Sandman as the main focus, he also wanted to conclude with Harry Osborn’s story with his plan for revenge towards Peter thinking that he killed his father

When Norman Osborn became the Green Goblin, he immediately murdered his assistant.

Now Rami hates Venom as a character and tried to refuse the inclusion but obviously lost. You can see just how little Rami wanted Venom in the movie and hated doing things with him because Eddie Brock isn’t that weight lifter reporter, and all the worst scenes involved either the Symbiote or Venom. There’s a few good scenes but tell me you couldn’t see Peter angry that the police force would hide Ben’s true killer for so long, and him seeing Flint wouldn’t reopen the wound resulting in a similar scene that we got with or without the black suit.

Okay, what I noticed is that many people love the everlasting SHIT out of Alfred as Doc Ock, and rightfully so. Thomas Haden Church, though, as Flint Marko/Sandman is quite underrated, his character is extremely well done, and as a whole, his performance is something that really, REALLY gets you emotional. I dunno, I think both he and Alfred Molina deserve praise, they're both amazing, so somewhat like that.

In the comics there's a version of sandman that goes on to raise his daughter but because of his apparent immortality he's forced to watch her die of old age. Sandman himself doesn't die until the end when he gives in and stop being sandman and becomes just. Sand. It reminded me of this scene specifically because it's the exact polar opposite. In this scene he's just woken up in a daze and now has to use all of his concentration and willpower to hold his human physical form. And it's beautifully illustrated here. It isn't until he realizes that not being able to pull it together means he won't be able to even hold his daughter again that he steels his mind and does it. All the while clutching her locket in his hand. A father with dedication.
