I never found the movie dislikable. The Symbiote was perfect and well-made. His costume is literally the best, the one Tom Holland wears is as if he wears his own merch. The music as well as the Dark atmosphere like Sam Raimi is a genius, these movies look better than modern ones, with all their stupid sgi and shit.
Spider-Man 3 isn't nearly as bad as people say it is. Does it have issues? Yes. Is it the weakest of the Raimi trilogy? Probably. But it's still a damn good Spider-Man movie and a fun superhero flick in general.

The whole metaphor of Peter shedding the suit, because he's a good person inside, only to have it fall on someone who embraces it is such good storytelling. Peters past sins coming back in the form of Venom was always a great form of character development cause it wasn't even in any of the Black Suit stories until the 90s cartoon. The idea to essentially make the symbiote the Devil was actually genius.
Spiderman 3 is my favourite movie of the triology, the visuals are the best, the bso is the best, is much darker like a dc movie, sometimes the movie show up a scene that is almost a poster, is beautiful to see. Its incredible see spiderman in the perspective that this movie bring to the table.
A lot of people are too harsh on this film. While Spider-Man 2 was about Peter's struggles juggling life as a college adult and being a superhero, Spider-Man 3 contrasts that. It's about everything working for Peter to his advantage, and he becomes too cocky. His ego inflates, and that's one thing the black suit just enhanced about him. His air tricks become more stylized, he becomes more upfront with his boss and he doesnt take crap anymore. I could go on and on, but I agree with you in saying this movie isnt nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be🤘

2:40, Part of me thinks that just as John Paesano’s Spider-Man PS4 score has elements of Danny Elfman, James Horner, and Hans Zimmer in it, perhaps aspects of Christopher Young’s Symbiote/Black Suit/Venom scores could show up in the second PS4 Spider-Man game considering the character will be part of the main story apparently. With the success of the new Venom franchise, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't add musical elements reminiscent of Ludwig Göransson or Marco Beltrami contributions as well.
we really need a good arc for symbiote peter on spider man ps4/5 sequel... they should let venom for other game or a DLC, black suited spider man deserves a whole new game for him
When I see people disliking spiderman 3 i just see people who hate it because it didnt live up to the standard of the first two... But that doesnt make it a bad movie (in fact i like it more than spiderman 1). It had amazing themes (peters ego going haywire, the black suit, not only as a design but the actual weight it had on the plot, MJs struggles, truth etc.) Despite the studio interference, i strongly believe that this movie was the perfect finale to the trilogy (despite the sort-of messy plot) and i wouldnt change a thing about it.
The fact that one of the major pillars of the Spiderman mythos was built on the back of some random ass kid in the 70's who thought black for Peter looked cooler will never cease to amaze me
