My friends and I would use the phrase "too spicy for you?" in lots of everyday situations. It definitely stays with you and Ade Edmondson doing the voice is just legendary.
adrian edmundson is behind the crazy voice of pepperami mascot ... he also starred in the young ones with rik mayall
OMG, I'm creased at your faces guys, I've not laughed so hard for a while, even the hubster came into the room and asked what I was laughing at. Yeah, we all grew up watching these ads so they were just normal to us. The grater one was my fave
pepperami, like a miniature pepperoni (as found on pizzas)
Your reaction is exactly what our reactions were watching these!
I just realised where "what's the matter? Too spicy for ya?" came from. I still say that to this day. I forgot it came from this.
Im sure it was used in a 90s rave song as well that wss popular, but i might be misremembering
I don't think I have seen you speechless before. Some of your best reactions. Thanks for the great entertainment. Perhaps you can visit the UK one day.
Ask anyone of a certain age to react to these "a finger of fudge, the milky bar kid or milk tray"
The bloke in the first advert or two, Rob Heyland, played a vet in the bbc 80s series One by One. I remember watching that every week so was interesting seeing him in these adverts.
