Haseki Hurrem Sultan Tomb; It was built in 1558 by Mimar Sinan to the Suleyman the Magnificent Complex in Suleymaniye, Istanbul. Hurrem Sultan is the second wife of Suleiman the Magnificent, who lived in the most brilliant period of the Ottoman Empire. At the same time, Prince Mehmed, Mihrimah Sultan, Prince Abdullah, Prince Bayezid, Prince Jihangir and the eleventh sultan Sultan II. Selim's mother.
Haseki Hürrem Sultan was originally Russian and dazzled by her beauty. In addition to beauty, diligence and cunning are known. The palace is one of the female sultans. He died in 1558 during his campaign to Edirne. He was first buried in the Suleymaniye Mosque and then transferred to the tomb built in the Suleymaniye Mosque.
This tomb, which was built by Sultan Süleyman the Magnificent to Mimar Sinan, was prepared with a special workmanship. Inside and outside the tomb is equipped with various ornaments. In the tomb, Sultan II. The tombs of Selim's prince, Mehmet, and Hanım Sultan, daughter of Hatice Sultan, the sister of Suleiman the Magnificent, are also present.
Apart from the entrance facade of the tomb, there are two windows on each side. The lower row of these windows has rectangular jambs and slightly pointed, deaf arches. All the windows of the tomb were taken into the moldings and thus mobility was given to the façade.
The entrance in front of the tomb has portico and this portico, which is carried by four columns at the front and two columns at the back, is covered with a flat roof. The columns with the muqarnas capitals are connected to each other with pointed arches and rosettes are placed on the keystones. There is an inscription written Word-i Tevhit on the entrance door with flat arch. The tomb is covered with a round dome. Verses are written as reliefs on this pulley. The interior of the tomb is decorated with glazed and colored glaze techniques. These floral motifs are in coral red, navy blue and turquoise and include black, which is not very common in Turkish tile art. On the outer side, tile panels on both sides of the door are in the form of marble imitation with navy blue, turquoise and white colors at the bottom. On the pointed arched panel above them, compositions consisting of flowers such as spring branches, tulips and carnations were used. The corner fills show white contoured Chinese clouds on a blue background. On these, verses were written with white sülüs writing on the navy blue background. Inside the tomb is covered with tiles up to the bottom of the upper row windows. The window pediments are covered with tiles, where red, black, turquoise and navy blue colors are placed on a white background, and the fauna and dagger leaves fill the entire surface. On the windows, verses written in white sülüs inscription were placed. Here, unlike the tiles on both sides of the door, colored glaze technique is used.
In addition to tile decorations, wood works and pencil works were also widely used in the tomb. In the dome, herbal compositions from pen work were made. Woodworking is used in door wings, window sashes and cistern networks, especially kündekari technique is used in almost all wood works. Apart from Hürrem Sultan, Sultan II. Mehmet, the prince of Selim, and Hanim Sultan, daughter of Hatice Sultan, the sister of Suleiman the Magnificent.

2 gün önce gittim ama kapalıydı giremedim sultan süleymanın kabrini gördüm hürremin kapalıydı
Bu çekimi yaptığımız zaman Kanuni Sultan Süleyman'ın türbesi bakımdaydı. Demek ki o bitince buna geçmişler. 😊
