I can actually feel myself turning into a type A chatter. Why isn't he taking advantage of the fact that even without seeing the cards you can still switch between sorted by rank and sorted by suit to gain information on the flipped cards? Why is he buying jokers that only work on 5 card type hands when you can't be as consistent with those in this challenge? Like brother, why is he and chat calling the challenge badly designed when he's refusing to interface with the challenge in such a way that the drawbacks of the challenge are at least somewhat mitigated? It's like if I went into the family man challenge in Isaac, kept buying brimstone in basement 2 even though I can only deal damage through familiars, and when I keep dying on caves 1 I keep yapping "Edmund this challenge fucking blows, what the hell is wrong with you?" There's a moment in every game that will rouse the most type B of type B chatters to become type A's strongest soldiers and you found yours. The key is to just embrace the rage, buy Balatro and do it properly so you can parasocially vindicate yourself against the egg.

The 5 discarded return Q, 4 and 3 face down with one known to be 2 and one more dupe 2,3 or 4. so NL could have created a straight with Q and first hand. Then he discards KQ + 3 face down. possibly had A K Q J in there... when there are 6 facedown cards? At least didn't ruin a potential straight again. Then he again discards Q9 + 3 face down( out of 6 facedown cards) potential straight again broken by the discard A,Q,J/10,9,8/7. Then he gambles on A instead of 6 or 7, revealing that he didn't have A in the first hand but 3 kings. Then he gambles on two face down cards 6/7 and 2/3 instead of a single 6/7 to hope for a J,10 ,8,7/6,5. Thanks for coming to my Type A Talk
No this challenge is pretty easy with flushes. Diamonds are on the far right and spades are on the far left, so building flushes to either of those suits makes this challenge super easy because you know that anything to the left of a spade is going to be another spade
I am amazed how easy this challenge was, all i did was go for either spade or diamong flush, and discarding all the cards from the other side of the deck and it always worked lol

I agree but I think an easier fix would be to change the wording to "X% chance of cards drawn face down this round". The problem is that most people don't see statistics like "1 in 4" as being 25% chance per attempt. It's why so many people can loathe space joker because they assume it HAS to hit at least once every four hands played, same with wheel. Now I think it would be more difficult to do that for every probability card and joker, but at least for blinds it is hard coded as yes or no (depending on if you have a joker that disables it) -- at least that's how I understand it.
Nah I don't think that would fix it, the human brain is just not built for probability so no matter what you word it as some people are just gonna go joker mode the second they get bad luck.

Just beat this challenge today, I got really lucky with 2 pair focused jokers and rerolling nasty boss blinds. Truly one of the most annoying challenges in the game!
I've never played the game or really watched it to know how scoring works (since i don't like any classic casino card games) but i can't believe he read out loud and ignored the comment about using two sorting ways to figure out flipped cards. It's like a very easy puzzle game and since the whole challenge is about the flipped cards once you figure them out it's not longer a challenge but a normal game no?
I played xray vision once and ragequit out in like ante 3 and haven't come back to it lol granted, I played it the minmaxy way; sort by suit and rank back and forth to deduce the suits and ranks of your cards. And I can tolerate that level of granularity on a specific boss, but it's painful every hand of the run
