Tigun of course, but it deserves basic minimum features such as 360 degree camera, rear disc brakes, reclining rear seats, sliding side window blinds, tyre pressure display, manual infotainment controls.
Bro seltos also have these all features and all wheel disc braks

Passive safety like ADAS has no meaning in India also it malfunctioned a lot in top vehicles like seltos and 700 i believe a good driving skills and a safe car with a fun to drive experience like Taigun, nothing can beat it.

Missing features of Slavia, Kushaq, taigun and Virtus:
1. 360° Camera
2. TPMS with proper pressure display for each tyre
3. Improved Rear camera with adaptive guidelines.
4. Rear disc brakes.
Brotha i agree with you but when it comes to rear disc brakes.. vw and skoda gets the latest 11th gen abs breaking system where the front disc breaks is more than enough for that perticular body weight .. and yes it's very efficient
Front disk is enough. Our 2012 Figo has only front disc & no abs, still stops better than today's abs cars

Once you drive Volkswagen/skoda or any other German vehicles there is no turning back, thay are just so fun to drive wrap around the drivers within itself and you fell so connected to your vehicle cornering is fun high speed stability maintains confidence, what we miss is full size spare wheel as they are must for long highway trips, Germans are pinnacle in making vehicles they are like apple of cars not for everyone but enthusiasts
Should get TPMS & adaptive guidelines for rear camera.
Also low maintenance cost...
Yes driven kushaq 1.5 happily for more than 2.5 yrs , upgrade plans with facelift kodiaq or BMW X1

Recently bought Taigun GT+. 9+ years with VW.
They are from another human civilization as they argue with so much of kindness 😊
We have recently seen in ANCAP test that we need drive assistance system with strong build quality. So only strong build quality is not required. Good build quality with assistanting system cars should be provided by manufacturers like XUV700, Harrier Honda City etc.

I Already own a first gen seltos, now planning to get Kushaq.
I think the comparison would have been more interesting between those models that attracts the masses w.r.t the price. People buying top costly models are not the masses.

Tiagun is the winner hands down. Drove this Seltos , on speed breakers and minor potholes, it rolls as if it’s a tin ka dabba 😂 tiagun is a rock !
VW and skoda offer nice products although they have also started cutting costs to survive in the Indian market. But still the feel inside their cars are amazing as compared to other brands.
The only concern is their resale value is way too less, I don’t know why.
100% Kushaq/Taigun 1.5 AT. I have Kushaq 1.5 AT, drove it 1250 kms from MP to Bengaluru, in 16 hours, with 1 - 1.5 hrs break. No fatigue. Simply excellent car, no competition

Definitely not only the star rating...there are multiple other factors that could dominate the star rating for the better safety.

The ACT technology on 4 cylinder engines on VW dont have much of a greater mileage compared to its 3 Cylinder engine variants, at least on paper. Can you share experience your experience. Also, is the AC not effective as some claim, especially on rear seats?

Active 2 cylinders hota tabbhi vibration bhi nahi...n yes AC does cut off bcz of that but instead of keeping it on AUTO, switch to AC ON & increase the fan speed

VW Is definitely superior in terms of built and finish (till the launch of Taigun) ... still VW products have their own set of problems like high cost of gear replacement which is bound to happen after certain period of milage & other parts are too costly to repair once zero depp is over . My major concerns .

All those features in today's big suvs are MOSTLY a distraction to the driver which can cause accidents. Like half of the time the driver would be concentrating on the features of the car while driving rather than actually focusing on their driving. That's why I like vw nothing too exquisite simple yet classy a perfect car brand.
If dont believe in pleasure of driving then go for KIA but if you love to drive then German cars are unbeatable ❤
I have sent an email to kia with the detailed reason for the cancellation of the new kia seltos facelift. It may be flashy but not comparable with taigun or kushaq. 1.5 dsg cylinder deactivation technology i am missing in my brand new Audi q3 too.

It’s better to buy hatch than compact suv
I chose seltos over Kishaq (virtually the same as taigun) even after booking it before seltos. My reasons for rejecting it was that kushaq looks more like a car than an suv (yeah we know fake suv), overpriced even after leaser numers in sales, features.... Therefore, my better half was more impressed with seltos than kushaq

5 star rating is not my top priority. 99% of my commute is in the city where I hardly ever cross 50kmph and that's majority of the people.
VW have made cars that are narrow and small. They are bound to fail. They haven't put in much effort before launching their products in India. They took the Indian public for granted. Indian public is very very smart.
