@@mattsreloadingbench Hunting use to shoot competition 20 years ago and loved it. Today I’m lucky to have a family that helps me with my deer due to an unfortunate circumstance with my health.
I see you are using Lapua Brass for 6.5 PRC, have you had problems with tight primer pockets? I had to stop using my hand primer tool and use my reloading press to seat the primers..
Goid info. The 58.0 gr load looked like a nice group size, although the SD was higher. I am planning to get a 6.5 PRC in the future, and finally start reloading. I will keep Retumbo in mind. Anybody know about RL-25? I think they are similar.
Retumbo aka hodgdon gold. I was lucky back a couple months ago there was retumbo and h1000 everywhere for about a week. Then gone forever again till hodgdon decides they like civilians again.
About a year ago, I was able to get an 8 pounder of each. If it wasn't so damn expensive to buy, I would have gotten more! But YES... this stuff is like gold! Once I am done with this video series, I will most likely do one with H1000. Thanks for watching!
I’ve had really good success with it using 140 Accubonds Berger Elite and ABLRs.
That's awesome! What do you shoot for? Target? Hunting?

@@paulmeek7964 I'm sorry to hear that. I hope that all is well.
@@mattsreloadingbench I appreciate that but if I breathing I’m move. Really enjoy your videos
Looking forward to seating depth evaluation. Keep the videos coming!
Most definitely. Unfortunately that wont be for a few weeks due to other things going on, BUT that video will be in the works.
Thanks for watching!
Looking pretty fantastic!
Thanks for watching!
That powder works great in 6.5 prc and my 6.5x284.
I have used it before on my other 6.5 PRC, but it works even better in 300 PRC!

I dont have an issue with that. I use a primer pocket Uniforming tool
Point one grain increments in a case that size? That's funny. What increments do you use for 22 Hornet?
I wouldn't know. Never loaded for or shot 22 Hornet.

I have a video using RL25. Check it out.

I do not enjoy heavier loads in 300 win mag. 6.5 prc intrigues me.
There is significantly less recoil in 6.5 prc than the 300 win mag. It is enjoyable to shoot for more than 5 rounds. LOL
You like wasting powder and components? 0.1 gr increments is ridiculous... Same with 2 thou seating depth, makes no sense whatsoever.
