    4:59 "And then there was a new, searing pain, like a fiery knife in his belly, and Nedry stumbled, reaching blindly down to touch the ragged edge of his shirt, and then a thick, slippery mass that was surprisingly warm. And with horror, he suddenly knew he was holding his own intestines in his hands. The dinosaur had torn him open. His guts had fallen out."

      @kennethyates I know. The book version is insanely more graphic than the movie adaptation. It was even more gross in the book when Muldoon and Gennaro were riding in the Jeep through the jungle and they came across Nedry's disemboweled body. A group of compys were also seen feasting on Nedry's leg. 😵‍💫😵‍💫

      can you make some vid with some staff scaping and hiding from t rex, spino and a lot of raptors in the jungle at night, raining, with only a flashlight... and scaping alive... minimun 10 min.

      The book is a horror story, but the movie had to be toned down because it would have gotten an “R” rating, and to Spielberg that was bad because it meant more people couldn’t watch it. Even Arnold’s graphic death was removed from the movie, but we saw Ellie grab his arm, so we get a hint to what happened to him.

      If you think about it... that one we saw in the film might not have actually been full grown... probably an early adolescent. Nedry did say "You're not one of your big brothers, you're not so bad!" Could he have been referring to a larger specimen? or could he be referring to another dinosaur on the island... not that it really matters since he became Dilo food shortly after muttering that line to begin with.
      Inb4 comments about the frill.... IF it had the frill IRL, odds are it would've been either A: something for defense, necessary to intimidate something larger (like on a Frilled Lizard), or B: It could've been used by males only as a display for females. If the latter, than the one we saw was a young male who saw Nedry as a competing male for territory (before seeing him as food). If the former, it would've shown the frill because Nedry was larger, and wanted to try and scare him off... dinner being served was just a bonus in either case.

  • @jat9926
    @jat9926 5 месяцев назад +2

    We now know the Dilophosaurus is actually poisonus! Spitting it’s venom at its prey, causing blindness and eventually paralysis allowing the carnivore to eat at its leisure. This makes Dilophosaurus one of the most beautiful but deadly additions to Jurassic Park.

      @@ali-awada I too have been thinking about Hollywood's monopolization of the culture for some time now. As we enter the 4th decade of the internet and digital media, I hope we can disentangle ourselves from that grip; the power to create cultural content should not be centralized. The world needs more voices.

    This was really cool and really good! The dinosaur and the surrounding areas looked great and the music felt great !! Only thing I personally think that could make it better is the nedry design. Besides it being an scp model, it looked as if the face and chest were connected, and the face was just stretching and moving in ways that were very distracting.
    It was great though! I love the books and the horror aspect so much! You're one of my favorite short film makers just because I can't find this stuff anywhere else and I love the way you make it!!
