I used NOW Quercetin 800mg twice a day. It helped although the effects didn't last more than 4-6 hours. However, when I paired it with CBD oil (15mg) the quercetin lasted a lot longer, closer to the half life of 12 hours. I don't need it now as the itching has largely subsided and is almost gone. The best part was that I no longer needed Apoquel as both quercetin and apoquel lasted around 4-5 hours. That was the goal and adding the CBD oil gave the dog a night without itching. I used the Chinese Meridian clock to figure out where to start (the dog's itchiness was at a maximum) and once I was on that roadmap and with the Gut health program and fresh food, my dog's fur is growing back. To actually stop the itching, I had to add 4 drops of calendula tincture to get his lymph moving.

I have a 14 year old Maine Coon who out of no where developed a terrible allergy which is causing her to itch her face, ears and paws neurotically. @thenaturalpetdoctor I just bought your Healthy Gut Program and am on module 1, sorting out what symptoms correspond with what part of the gut imbalance. Luna needs her teeth cleaned and, at minimum, one tooth extraction. I'm so nervous about her! She is still dealing with chronic ear infection and chronic cough. I'm praying she'll be okay with the anesthesia and that having clean teeth with help her ear to heal. Do you have any suggestions for recovery after an intense teeth cleaning with anesthesia? Thank you!
