idk what it is but stuff like this just gets me more pumped about moving to Korea next year
Congrats!! Korea is amazing, enjoy all of it! Seriously, I tried to do so much while I lived there and still missed out on a ton.
Get pumped!
@@kyliefitzgerald6984 I pray you didn’t move back to America?
Miss Korea
I would simply die of cuteness if I saw these 2 shopping around 😭😂
Ahah ahhhwwww
So happy we get another video so soon. Can't get enough of you and your other half. You're sooooo cute together 🥰💕
Thanks so much for the support sweet angel 💛
Aaaaaah! I’ve been on a moving to Korea RUclips spiral lmao so glad you posted ❤️❤️❤️ this video , I’m living for ! It’s so beautiful in autumn!!!
Thanks for watching sofie ❤️
This Korea store is beautiful and lots of items to choose! I love it!😊💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙. And happy November, Adrienne!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌷💜💜💜💜💜👍
❤️happy November
Emart, Lotte Mart, and Homeplus are fantastic, but the best place to shop in Korea is DAISO 다이소. Everything is only one or two bucks there. If you're on a tight budget, this is definitely the place to go!
Yes luv daiso for small stuff I need around the house !~
Love to see what products you all have in Korea. Wish we had an EMart in the States. Please film more of this.
Emart actually owns a lot of grocery chains here in the states now.. so there’s a possibility of an emart opening here! I think something similar or a branch of it is opening in LA!
Will do more! Thanks for the input ❤️
I’ve visited Korea 4x and EMART is one of our tourist spot each time 😆 I miss SK!
LOVE EMART!
I love seeing everyday activities in vlogs. The vacations and glam are fun but it’s so nice to get to see the everyday things as well.
I agree 🧡
I love binge watching your videos ♥️♥️ Love your content ♥️♥️
Thanks for watching ❤️
This is fun! I’d like to see future grocery trips :) I think E-Mart does seem like a blend of Wal-Mart and Target.
Will shoot more in the future!
I love watching videos where the both of you go to stores, coffee shops, parks ect. It's nice to see cool places in Korea!!
Thanks! So glad you enjoyed
I'm honestly surprised how comparable the prices are to what I buy now! Makes me feel so much more comfortable about moving there in the spring 😊
🧡🧡🧡🥰
Always love your content! I’ve been enjoying move to Korea videos and anything shopping/grocery shopping related. You two are the cutest couple ❤️
Thanks so much Juliana 🧡
Cream cheese in the US varies, like if it’s just basic plain it’s not too much but flavored Phili is pretty expensive , it’s like $4 for the same size you showed
They've started selling Bibigo at the Meijer near me in KY and you don't even know how excited I was! The closest Asian mart to me is like 30 mins away so I was pumped to be able to get it on my weekly grocery trip
Omg so cool that they sell it there! Thanks for sharing ~~
So enjoy seeing you guys shop together and just hang out. Would love to see Part 2. ❤❤
Thanks Debbie! Part 2 soon 🥰
I love Korean supermarket! Can't wait to go back...It looks like fruits are more expensive there compared to the states.
💛
I don’t mean to be rude but finally an expat/korean couple that doesn’t just do tiktok challenges/pranks 😅 definitely subscribing
I love going to Emart when I go Korea! Thanks for doing the video 🧡
Hehe thanks for watching ❤️
oh i love these kinds of videos! it is always so interesting seeing different countries' equivalents of basic stores like Walmart or target
🥰🥰🥰
I love learning about foods of other countries so I enjoyed this video a lot! I’m looking forward to part 2 🙂
Soon❤️
Omg ur videos are going amazing
And thanks for sharing this video with us 😀☺
Thank you so much! ❤️
Love your content, Adrienne! So helpful for my trip to Korea :)
Thank you!!!
Thank you for the video. Now I know what to expect when I visit!
Makes me want to come to Korea more😭
Hope you can come soon ❤️
Yaaaassss bishhhh, I’ve been asking for this video for months! 😂😂
YESSSSS i was hoping you’d see it hehe
@@adriennehilll also DUH we wanna see a part 2!
One of my fav things to do when i travel is visit the supermarkets LOL. It’s so exciting to see the variety
Me too!
Living in New York City, I think the closest thing to e-mart would be target. The prices even for the more expensive items aren’t too bad but then again I know people living in suburbia could get it cheaper.
The dumpling selection is unbelievable! I think I would have to travel out to one of the huge H Mart’s in Queens to find that kind of selection, if it is even possible.
I loooove the dumpling section! Also miss NYC!
Yes, I enjoyed this one. It reminded me of those chat videos you used to do in the two-story apt. like when you'd try foods and answer questions. I'd love to see a part 2 for this one.
Yes i will do more ❤️
I loooove emart!!! 😍 also daiso is amazing i go almost everyday 🤣
😍
Ooo today is best day of my life .2 vlogs in one day ooo my ❤️❤️❤️ can't believe 😅😅😅
Enjoy gal!
@@adriennehilll yep
In Hawaii, Cream cheese is about the same price. Since May 2020, food prices have increased by $1-$2. My husband and I strive to buy local food as much as we can. Yes, I would love to see another Emart video.
Ahhh dang. Luckily you can buy local in Hawaii! What island do you live on?
@@adriennehilll I live on Oahu, next to UH. I grew up in Kaneohe.
Would love to see the home decor area! Really enjoyed this one. Costco has started selling a few varieties of Bibigo products in the US! ♥
Will film that next time thanks for letting me know❤️
I would love to explore there
I love videos like this, it's so interesting to see what products they have there!
Glad you enjoyed!
God I love watching vlogs about life in Korea, I'm going to korea for school soon(SNU), and I'm absolutely hyped.
thats so exciting!
what're your thoughts on Korean-Italian food? On all of the media I see, Korea-Italian food looks very...interesting...but curious to know your thoughts!
I think its hit and miss! Ive had some amaaaazing Italian food here, and I’ve had some that isn’t anything special. Smaller, local restaurants tend to do really good Italian food as opposed to big pizza chains etc
Loved this. The Emart meal kits are awesome! I buy them a lot 💕
Me tooooo 🥰😍
Thanks for showing the prices for comparison. It was very interesting what was expensive and cheap. Part 2 please.
Thanks for the support~!
감사합니다! I’m going to Korea in July so this is helpful
10:21 They really DO have a huge variety of cheese... I can even spot a type of sliced traditional Norwegian brown (whey) cheese, "Fløtemysost" (the brown/orange pack in the middle). I know it is sold a few places in Korea, but seeing it in e-mart now, I freaked out
Oh that’s awesome! Didn’t realize that
Love this video! 💕
Emart is cheaper than where I live 😭! When I visit I wanna go! 🥺 someday…
also, they just started selling Bibigo at my grocery store it’s the BOMB! 💣
In my city/country (Madrid, Spain, Europe) there is Carrefour and El Corte Inglés
🤩
Four avocados for $8 is so nice. Haha. I can buy one for almost $4. Food prices in general are going up though. Enjoyed this blog!
Omg really!? Where do you live?
Maybe regular e-mart videos to show off the seasonal items would be fun!
Oooo love this idea
We are being spoilt with another video❤️
Enjoy!❤️
Philadelphia cream cheese is half the price in the States.
I always buy no brand. hahaha It's probably made in the same factory as the branded one.
Oh wooooooow I didn’t realize the price was so different! Yes i agree - prob made the exact same way
nah pulmuone's dumpling is way better try it someday
16:12 When you leave your kid for a second at the mart.
I love E-mart but I have a soft spot for homeplus. I feel every mart has something better priced than the other. Like cereals are cheaper at top mart, but almond milk was a few hundred won cheaper at homeplus. Now I order half the stuff online.
Also, there's this mart called Foods and. The vegetables and herbs variety is good there.
I shopped mainly at home plus for my first year in korea! Love that place too hehe
second haha i’ve always been curious about emart
Hope you enjoy the vlog!
Im trying to find a company for online shopping/ groceries. Do you recommend emart/ssg or coupang?
I love your vlogs❤️❤️
Thank you!!❤️
Omg that variety of almond flavours is insane! I get honey butter and tiramisu here in the uk. They also do wasabi. I’ve seen honey butter in HK Singapore and bali but not alllll of those! Damn I can’t wait to visit Korea for work some day. As a flight attendant I get 64kg weight limit. Best believe I’m taking an empty suitcase with me 😂
😂😂😂🥰
I'm so jealous. HBAF almonds are literally $11.99 a bag here :(
Dannnng that’s expensive
“Holy shit” 😭😂
I feel nowadays all country is same category but some thing is more variety or not like that . I guess in Korea not eat a lot cheese and bring to other country that happen more expensive here cheese
Truly enjoy your vlogs. Emart is no where near a walmart or target. Emart is way better.
😍😍😍 sooo true girl
After eating korean yoghurt i noticed how good german yoghurt is 😅😅😅 i only get yoghurt from nobrand and also creamcheese from there😍 or costco has so nice products
P.s. dont buy masks in emart o.o they have 10+10 for 10k which is normal price in korea if you go some other shops it is actually same and you get a lot of samples with it
I bought 20+20 for 15k in coupon last time which i still use 😅🥳
🥲😅
Pls do part 2
Will do soon!
15:28 Lindt is pricey here in Connecticut too. I think I got a bar for that same price but it's worth it haha
Ahhh can't wait to be there next year😩😩😩😩🥺🥺🥺
🧡
This is so cool! I live about hour outside NYC. Here today that size Philadelphia cream cheese is $4.29 in shoprite. Probably cheaper at Walmart though. Does emart do sales? Cream cheese definitely goes on sale often here.
Emart does sales ! Wow pretty similar price on the cream cheese then
What did we do to deserve so frequent vlogs😭
Thanks for the love ❤️
Yeah! Film when you go there, it’s like a Costco almost
We want to film at costco next!
@@adriennehilll Yes!!! You should
Where is this emart specifically...?
I heard wall mart is more bigger than Emart? just not stair up like 3floor like that just 1 floor? I heard Warmarket is big but more wide?
For a tube of cream cheese here it’s 4$ it’s about the same size as the one you showed. You can also get a box of cream cheese for 2$ it’s cheaper bc of the packaging I believe.
Interesting!!~ thanks for letting me know
I can’t believe how much plastic packaging in on food in Korea 🤯 everything is wrapped!! The waste must be huge wow. We have mostly individual fruit and veg and most things are in paper now in Australia.
Yeah its not great :(
Where in Seoul is it located?
which store is this?
eMart is definitely more like Costco from what I've seen
Whatever you said was “British Candy” I’ve literally never seen in my life 😅
Do you know if they have dark rye bread in Korea? We love it in Denmark since it is more healthy than White 😊
I have seen it before in some bakeries!
EMART IS LIFE
LYFEEE
can you use american cards there like first national?? i’m going to seoul next year and i’m so nervous that i won’t be able to exchange currency and will have to use a card. i’m so excited tho!
Yes, you just have to let your bank know beforehand that you are traveling abroad
I just bought Bibigo dumplings at the grocery store.
Omg yum I bet they’ll be amazing
Is Pulmuone a good Korean brand? That’s what I buy here in Hawai’i
Yes!! Very famous
Adrienne hi, loved your video :) Can you tell me where exactly is this emart in Seoul ?
It’s in busan at jung dong statiom
@@adriennehilll thank you :)
Part 2 please!?
Ok!:)
Part two - costco 🧡spoiler❤
I love you
Where is the emart located?
Jungdong station
Where in Seoul ?
this video was shot in busan
Why is everything wrapped in plastic unnecessarily?
Korean style
there's so much english in the store imagining how, if there was even half the amount of foreign language in a walmart outside of the "ethnic" section a lot of americans would combust lol
😅😅😅
I heard avocados said mangoes are ridiculously expensive in Korea. Holy crap, no kidding.
Edit: well, I was going to correct the spelling but it sounded hilarious that avocado told on mangoes, so I left it alone. 🤣
😅😅😂😂
@Hot coke Hopefully they have a FTA with many other South East Asian countries that can supply these items. In the US, there isn't any terrific imposed on these items so the prices are very cheap.
I’ve never seen hersheys in a bag like that before
Same!!
I think Im too used to cheap fruit here in Spain
Lucky girl!
어디서 많이 보던 중동 이마트 ㅎㅎㅎ
😂😂😂😂💕
I don’t trust korean bread. One time I was craving garlic bread and it was super sweet. There were many things that were unexpectedly sweet but i guess that’s just an acquired taste 🤷♀️
😅
You don't sell guns?
Hi
👋
send me some.....
😍😍🙏🏻
👍🏻❤️🥰
😍
Have you thought about hiring a professional editor? That way you save a ton of time and post more at the same time…
not gonna lie, all that individually wrapped plastic foods just gives me anxiety. Wish they (everyone) would use paper bags!
Ahhh i hate it too!
so much unnecessary plastic :(
All of the plastic makes me cringe D:
