that is a really good question, i would assume all these guys are running 110-116 lobe separation cams, the wider the separation the more the flame....is it possible the low flame cars are running tighter seperations/smaller exhaust lobes with less nitrous? The guy that won hardly had any flame, the guy at the beginning had a huge flame but was slow....i'm guessing the guy at the beginning had a big ole wide seperation 114LSA cam and the winner was on a more modest 110-112 LSA cam which didnt push much exhaust out and made more power...any professionals have thoughts?
Ahahah Drag Radial...taking 1/3rd of the complexity off racing a car since 2015 and running strong. I hear ya man. They should force people back to slicks. Burning out right and yes the chance of spinning the tires adds more drama to the race but I guess tracks make more money off super happy radial guys who get their full bracket races in even if they'd be spinning on slicks. :/
Chris Harris don't get me wrong it's badass to think there on a "street legal" tire and they go that fast. I've just had a hard time getting them to hook at our shitty prepped local tracks so they have let me down many times. Cars are still really cool I love the radial class.
Most of those cars are on 'pro bracket' radials, aka radial slicks - nothing street legal about them, no DOT stamp, nothing. Any car that couldn't get down that track was simply not setup right. The track was incredibly sticky (just look at the guy stand still and stick). It's hard to get slicks down a track that sticky because they tend to get into tire shake REAL easy.
Do you just put a bunch of words in a hat and shake em up and lay em down the way they fall or perhaps it's a code and you have the key for decipheration for sale for the low low introductory price of $5.99.....
Afraid of Turbos and Prochargers? Why would they just allow nitrous??? LOL Ric Flair doesn't know how to zero his nitrous either. Gunning it WHILE he was venting....kaaabooom! It's surprising the number of people who don't realize why they gun and then spray. It's to get those shots full and right up against the nozzle. No kaboom if the shot goes out of time and a full shot every time. Red car with a whooole lotta burnt paint because his header exhaust pipe isn't leaning out a bit or backwards and out. WEIRD. Damn, lookit all those foxes. I know some people hate them but a small, light car with a ginormous engine bay. Love em or hate em, that's a recipe for winning.

It's pointless to come in here and go AWESOME! when there's some things some people might not see. The one guy was doing things that could cause a nitrous backfire, the one guy burned the paint off his car by ignoring the blackening on the paint and now it hurts the look of the car and in the end I said AWESOME!
