Tinfoils live in group. If possible keep 3 to 5 tinfoils. Yes, they eat plants. My tinfoils spoiled my aquatic plants.

You never put that water that comes with a plastic bag into your tank NEVER

Why bro. They put this water form the tank in which the fish was right? and also they keep this fish in oxygen supply tank right. Because they pour the water in which the fish was and so the water in the cover contains oxygen right. So i dont think theres any problem. Or may be I'll be wrong. I just said my opinion.

It's not only about "oxygen" in the water. it's about the water chemistry in your aquarium water. you might see all aquarium water are the same cause fish swims there. but all aquarium water is different. starting from water temperature. Ph Level. Ammonia. Nitrite. Nitrate. Plus the unseen pathogens bacteria that carry disease and parasites that can make your aquarium fish die... The right way to acclimate the new fish is to quarantine them first in the quarantine tank. (Just like us humans in this pandemic time is the best example we can't just enter the country just by saying we have the same oxygen anyway in what county I came from) the newcomers fish should be quarantine into another fish tank for a week and sometimes for a month depends. then after that, you can add the new fish into your main tank. let's be honest all of us got no time to follow that "Proper way" of adding new fish cause we are excited. But hey it can save your beautiful fish from dying. instead of losing them right?
if you don't do that method and just dump all the fish and pet shop water in. and so far it works for you then good for you I have nothing against that I'm here to help my fellow hobbyists. FYI Watch about the nitrogen cycle here at youtube. it can help you to understand what I'm saying :)
