aww haha she's so bashful about singing it. it really is adorable. i can just picture her as a kid singing that.
she is so awkward when it comes to interviews. Almost as if she has no social skills and becomes more timid. But she totally owns it when she performs on stage. Her songs are amazing, out there, loud. Yet she isn't? at least in her interviews. Total contradiction and totally different than what I am use to seeing. Such a great artist.

Grimes is opening my eyes to the creative side of pop music. yes, it's overshadowed by the douchebaggery of unpassioned pencil pushers and kanye west but its there and now I can appreciate it. instead of shrugging at pop like some hipster boasting brony stats and neckbeardisms, I can appreciate the finer points illuminated by Madam Boucher.
Apparently Kanye West was really good to grimes, and gave her good advice early in her career when she came into legal troubles with labels etc. And even helped her choose which songs to out on art angels. She admires the fact that he also produces his own songs just like she does. She said all this in an interview once
