features like this would be make exiting addition to people who are not artists, like people who are not adobe users. you've collected so much data from users yet you don't know who your customers are and what they do.
Ah, the classic artist's superiority complex! It’s that cocktail of pride with a dash of fear, a pinch of anger, and a swirl of confusion. Throw in a sprinkle of sadness for good measure, and you've got a recipe that feels a lot like when horse drivers, elevator operators, and telephone switchboard workers swore that their jobs could never be replaced by technology. Spoiler alert: they were wrong. Now their roles are relics of the past, and they probably felt a bit betrayed by the companies that left them behind. But, oh, remember when those same "artsy" folks would casually say, "Just learn to code!" as advice? They'd tell manual laborers to go get another skill-like them, of course. But the tables have turned! This time, it’s the artists who might be looking over their shoulders, because guess what? The machines are coming for their jobs. Oh, how the winds of change do blow!
@@gabenjamin4052 im sorry you wanted to be an artist but dont have the talent :( heres the worlds smallest violin playing sad song just for you 🎻 enjoy your AI generated crap, im sure your mum will like all of the pictures!
@@x340x Oh, so you fancy yourself an artist, huh? Always quick to call out others moms-classic! It just shows how folks with big egos and small childish minds tend to work. You lash out at anything that doesn’t make sense to you and act like the world owes you a standing ovation. Hate to break it to you, but you’re not some rare gem, and your art? Yeah, it’s not as special as you think. You’ll be replaced, just like all those jobs that came before. Instead of throwing shade my way, maybe take my advice - "learn to code"!
This new tool is invaluable for artists! Its good for quickly creating comps, making variations, testing different lighting conditions, locations, color schemes, brainstorming, etc! Another useful case is when working with non artists. Imagine working with a client that is trying to explain what they want using words, this tool will now make it easier to bring their vision to fruition. Even if the tool is not perfect, yet, it will massively speed up pre-production. Those examples are just off the top of my head, Im sure more creative people will come up with creative applications. The problem isnt the tool, its the lack of imagination in implementating such tools.
A lot of people lack vision and taste so no, not any time soon. They're looking to you to consult them, rendering only helps if you know what you want and whats avaliable
Adobe gen Ai strategy is to couninue to harvest our creative work, while dismissing and spitting out messaging that we as creative will still have a place, this is to harvest more work and to refine the tools for adobe express to complete agaist canva and any other prompts tools/variations. They will be directly responible for the creative role extinction, they will harvest our work, and they will take it and resell it calling it democratization of creativity. These are but prototypes for it. Adobe leadership team and investors believe the snake oil lies of gen ai, the work is stolen and the work doesnt belong to them, and they only have one opportunity to take it all and has much as they can. Adobe will steal from you and has, dont let them get away with it.
That's an interesting perspective! I understand where you're coming from, as there are many concerns about how companies like Adobe handle creative work. However, Adobe has publicly stated that they do not use customer-generated content to train their AI models without explicit permission. It would be great to see any evidence or examples that support your view, as it could help clarify the situation for all of us in the creative community.

Affinity is really cool and doesn't require a subscription
You are just broke and a free loader. It’s a professional piece of software. If you want to doodle, use a pen and paper
And also not nearly as feature rich.
Perfect for startups with low cash
For customers? Why would they contract you to do something they can do with a prompt. The only one winning here is Adobe.

Good news you will soon be DEI as well
DEI? How ironic considering the people presenting are FAR more educated and fit for their job than you are.
Bitter, broke, and shameless.
ugh, can we please stop with the DEI hires? Cringe as hell.
