Hahaha I kind of suspected that you wouldn't love the Djungelvrål but I do LOVE the super salty licorice so just had to include it for you to try 😂 and may I say - the super matchy matchy green line suits you very well! 😍👌 Congrats on one year, and 5k subscribers AND YOUR FIRST PATTERN! 🥳🥳 And I really get the beachy vibe from your Corran! Can totally imagine you wearing it at the beach with a drink in hand 👌
Your scarf design is beautiful. I know what I will do with my leftover yarn. Some of them will be suited for Christmas too. How clever of you to make different samples to show the versatility of the pattern. I've just downloaded your pattern and admired the projects on ravelry. Thanks Francesca!
Look at you, Ms. Italian Designer! Congrats on your kitting class and your new pattern. :) And a HUGE congrats on getting closer and closer to your move-in day in your new home. Goals indeed!
I think your version of the Corran cardigan is the best of all versions I saw on Instagram. I am planning to knit your version, just haven't decided on sleeves length yet. So, thanks for the inspiration ❤
I was knit-fluenced and knitted a half and half wrap. I absolutely love the finished object, it is sooo nice. However, I doubt I will ever ever make another one. It was surely a slog for me.
That little pink sweater looks adorable on your daughter. It's precious! I love the color too. The corran looks really good, I can see your vision for a beach cover up, it will be very stylish. You did a perfect job on both sweaters.
I so enjoy your projects and humor. The new design looks very nice. My daughter was living near Bologna a few years ago as an au par in Funo. She enjoyed her time there except the train strikes that stranded her a time or two. Enjoy teaching your class!
I'm a Canadian-born of Italian ancestry knitter. My parents came from the North Eastern part of Italy. I haven't been back to visit in two decades, but I am hoping to visit this summer, I have many relatives in Veneto/Friuli/Lombardy regions I'm planning to visit. Are there any places you would recommend visiting in regard to knitting? You are such a prolific knitter, I can't believe how many projects you have on the go. You have a keen eye for making your knits drape properly by using the proper yarns with the correct patterns. Amazing work!
Another fabulous video! I’ll be sitting on pins and needles waiting for the new scarf pattern! It’s gorgeous and just the type of project I love to knit….I’ve already got the yarn picked out, so thanks for the heads up! Best wishes for a happy move-in! 😘
Your corran cardigan looks beautiful on you! And I really love the scarf that you have created and I’m excited to try the pattern, I think this will be a really fun summer accessory. I love all of your nets. You’re such a beautiful knitter. Looking forward to the next one!🥰🧶
The green of your beach cardigan is one of my favorite colors. I also love the garter stitch because I'm a relatively new knitter and I like mindless knitting while I'm listening to audiobooks or watching RUclips channels. I love the two colors that you chose for your half and half shawl. They look gorgeous together.
I really love your summer scarf💕I need to knit a small one and pair it with a cumulus tee and a corran cardigan! (which I cannot get over your corran cardigan. Its so pretty)
Olive green looks great on you! 😁 And congrats on creating your first pattern - the scarves are beautiful! Once I decide to try a lace pattern, I will keep your pattern in mind 😍 Always love seeing your podcasts! ❤
Love, love, love! Your Corran cardigan😍 ( I might just copy it😬). Your summer scarf is so beautiful. Can't wait to knit it! Thank you for another wonderful and fun episode🥰
Do not frog that beautiful cream top it goes well with your skin tone, actually on screen, it suits you better than the green one you have on. It’s lovely 😮
Thank you for sharing your knitting. I love all of your projects! I am traveling to Bologna, Italy in June. I would love to go to a local yarn store there. Do you have any suggestions?
Love this olive green line era you’re in right now 😅 funny enough the yarn I had ordered for my Corran cardigan just arrived as you werde talking about yours, and I can’t wait to cast it on. I’m definitely getting beach vibes from your version, it turned out beautifully ! 😊
I think two balls in different colors of the same yarn may feel different because of the chemicals used to color them. Just a guess :-) Congrats on creating your first pattern!
I have yet to be successful at steeking 😢 but I'm so happy for your victory in modifying your daughter's cardigans. That garment is adorable. Also warm brown is a great color for you.
The coffee sweater mini is to cute to handle. Perhaps I should knit one for me to wear as an adult 😅 I think the sweets are called „lördagsgodis“ (sweets you eat at saturday).
Hi, I'm going to be in Napoli Italy next week. Any good yarn stores I could look for? I'm celebrating my 50th birthday and would love to come home with some special yarn from Italy ❤. Any suggestions? 🎉
The yarn feels different on the half and half scarf possibly because of the dying process…darker colors sometimes require a different process that is harder on the wool and can affect how it feels.
Please don’t buy helium balloons! It is a finite resource that is used in MRI machines! The helium supply shortage is a major concern for many years now.
This is actually not an helium balloon - it’s just a balloon that you inflate (with your own breathing) via a straw that you insert inside the balloon (and then you remove the straw). They’re pretty popular in Italy, not sure about the rest of the world. Anyway, I didn’t know (or I guess never thought about) helium being a finite resource, so that was interesting, thanks for sharing! I will continue not buying helium balloon and stick with my own breathing (which is also less expensive 😅)
Your Corran Cardigan is stunning - I definitely get beachy vibes from it. All the best with your knitting class, the scarf is gorgeous!

Francesca - pattern writer extrordinaire and olive green aficionado, this episode was great and you're a delight.

Thanks for another wonderful video Francesca! I can't blame you for picking all the olive green yarn, it's such a beautiful color!

Hi friend, how many rows are in the lace repeat on the Corran.
Thank you.
