Your mashup long sleeve turned out so well. I have been wanting something similar and I see Rebecca just released a long sleeve for the Tolsta so maybe I should see if it works.

Yes, I still stayed until the end…..you kept me company while doing stockinette in the round!👀. All your knits look so nice on you! Maybe you could have started with a different color yarn in the yoke of your light neutral sweater, closer to your face…..?? But with a darker tan, I’m sure it will look great! ❤ Hope you are enjoying the new home!

You are not the only person who didn't love the knitting experience of the Ranunculous. I do believe RetroClaude also complained about similar things. She tried to lengthen hers and turn it into a dress, but had issues with the fit around the shoulders.

So great to catch up with you! I totally agree with you on the peach tank and creamy tee, not your “sparkle” colours. I had a tank, tee, and sweater that were “blah” on me, so I dyed them! It was not hard to do at all, and now I love them. I wasn’t wearing them anyway, so I had nothing to loose if they didn’t turn out. Here in Canada I used a product called Rit dye and also used their fixative to help keep the dye from fading. I did have my colours done a few month’s ago for fun and guidance, I am really happy I did. I used Carol Brailey online virtual service and she is amazing! (In case anyone is interested, she has a lot of you tube videos where you can see the before and afters) Looking forward to more episodes from you 💓

It was so good to see you.
Your Renunculus looked great on you, I'm so happy you decided to finish it. The Cindy Top also looked great.
I have knit two of your other patterns, and I love, loved them. They were so fun to knit. I will be casting this one on as well. Thank you so much for taking the time to write these patterns and share them with us.
Your Peacock Tee is so pretty I hope you will finish it. Do you think it is easier to make then the Renunculus?
    Congratulations on your new home.
    Take care

Lovely to see you again, Francesca! No episode with your sparkly quirkiness is too long imo. Some really gorgeous knits, I particularly love your green summer sweater. The paler colors might look much better with a tan - certainly worth a try! Or just add a bright bandana around near your face. Congratulations on the new house, enjoy!

You said abandoned and I almost GASPED 🤣 I understand if you don't like the colour of your Peacock, I definitely think you could pull it off but if you don't feel comfortable then you just don't 🤷🏼‍♀️ maybe you can try dyeing it? 🤔
Also, the crochet method for the edge is exactly what I need!! Will look into that! My Lola top is stretching like crazy in the straps so maybe the crochet would help! 🙏
And got to say that the short rows in the back of your green summer raglan do really make it look so comfortable! Like you said - I love adding those to a cropped sweater for some extra coverage and it just makes it feel like it fits better 😊👌

Hi Francesca, The peacock tee may need a scarf in some of that yarn and another yarn that would compliment your skin tone. Perhaps you can re-create the peacock pattern in a small neck scarf. It's a beautiful tee....enjoy wearing it.

Love your Ranunculus. Shall take your advice and not do the increases before splitting for the sleeves. As I dont want an oversized garment. The Peacock tee is a lovely colour, you can wear it of an evening with a black pair of pants or skirt. As it has enough pattern to stand out on its own.

Hi ! Missed you ! My first ranunculus was a challenge too … never wore it because it was too big … but I decided to make mods also : I sized down a full needle size for body and ribbing and knitted the smallest size ! It actually worked and now I have another one on the needle lol it took me 2 years to even think of knitting it again but glad I did …

The right colors do make a difference. When you put them near your face, you can tell if they make you look your best, or drag down your face. Your ranunculus looks great! Mine is too big, and I don’t know if I want to frog it and make again or not. Love your podcasts!

With the Top down sweater book, the guide says to put a wooden spoon or length of dowel in your armpit to ascertain your back width and to measure the depth of the armhole. The hummingbird beak is so long for a nectar eater. Our South Australian New Holland yellow/black honeyeaters' beaks arn't that long!

Don't frog that peacock top . Just do duplicate stitch at the neck cast on edge in a colour that you do like and then on the cuffs and bottom cast off edge. I didn't think that colour washed you out on the podcast as much as you think. However, you must make use of hand knits. The little pop of colour in these places I mention might just work for you . Happy Knitting 💞
