Beautiful game by Daria. First time I see her play and now I'm a fan. It's refreshing to see unique groundstrokes in female tennis, when 95% of players use the same classic wta forehand style. Hope she continues playing this good.

Her persona has improved greatly and 💯 happy for her . Daria is a wonder 💭 and a mystery ! I have watched her for the past 5-6 yrs slump in her game due to injuries and just goof show off on court ! She is also her own worst enemy ! BUT a very skilled, talented and unpredictable player I must say . Daria is full of surprises ! Muguruza is a fan too but she struggled too much today . Kasitkina has sadly been a bit of an underperformer. She was showing real potential at the same time as Barty, Osaka and sabalenka. But while the others quickly stepped up tot the next level (Osaka and Barty obviously BIG time) she’s not really advanced.

Yes, Kasatkina did not advance for about 1.5 years from the end of 2018 but she is on the way up again, but her game is suited for natural surface like clay and the green clay like grass. She may have some limitation that limited her progress. The other players that is talented in fact immensely talented , has far more potential than Osaka and Sabalenka about equal to Barty is Muchova, her career has been plagued with a lot of injuries, it is sad that she has been sidelined since the US Open.

Peanut gallery here: her service is not great to say the least. She’s one of my favorite players to watch and I hope she improves. The look on her face when she beat Venus Williams in the Indian Wells SF was hilarious. That’s when I fell in love with her ruclips.net/video/WnQC6HTuVio/видео.html

I'm not very familiar with tennis. But from my point of view, garbine's service doesn't seem to make full use of the body's springs. What if she could make a more powerful service by making improvements to the behavior of her service?
Her service appears to be powering the ball only with elbow-to-tip movements.

Some viewers suggesting Muguruza threw in the towel (to rest for AO).
    Did she?

Sounds ridiculous since she is the type of person that needs a confidence builder and momentum going into a Major. If Alexandrova had her forehand under control first match, Mugu would have lost that one. There are some women on tour who are hungry for their first Slam and they have just as much talent. Mugu is not a major threat.

I still think Mugu could do so much more with her serve. It’s not really a weapon in my opinion.

Muguruza is such a big and tall player, that would seem very intimidating IMO! I think she’s the tallest player at about 6’3 “.

GM is a Slice Kryptonite, constant slices will annoy her which very well results in a loss...

Do not be decieved by this scoreline.
GM was never in this match and constantly on the backfoot. She just reacted to Kasatkina's play and she is not the player to give a lead to.
    Domination from Kasatkina.

Mugz really has to step up her serving. Its hard to believe her team let her go out with a serve that weak. For a player as tall as she is, she should be hitting MUCH bigger serves, just through better technique. Just awful.
