Fantastic! The Javelin is a good flyer. I've built two of them. (The first one, I put a Jetex motor on. Worked fine until it went into a loop and tore the wings off!) My second one, 40 years later, flew beautifully with rubber power.
You have done the remarkable I made a couple of stick and tissue planes when I was little, I put a .049 Cox motor on a British Spitfire, and flew it free flight. It actually went a couple of miles then set down on the freeway. It had a brief carrier needless to say. But it was fun, and I still have the memory after 55+ years
What a fabulous moment in John's aeromodeling life - something to remember forever - bravo to both of you.
John will remember this for the rest of his life

That’s John hooked 🎉🎉🎉🎉
The Javelin and the Lancer were the best flying Guillows planes I ever built.
Wow...!!!! Enjoy the magic...!!!
That was a brilliant first flight, well done👍
Very nice, good work
Nice for the first time out, near to no breeze will help trim her out down the road.
Great Job, John
impressive work. couldn't see clearly did it have a dethermal timer?
I dont even know what that is!
@@johntereskerz2563 it's a timer that pops the horizontal stabilizer up so that the plane does not fly away in a thermal.
I built that model. Old school basic. flew good.
Same. Built this when I was a kid in the 1960s. First model I ever built that flew well. And it flew really well.
Nice also this is very impressive
Well done men!
