In the game version Tess and Joel hunted down Robert about the guns he gave them. But he ended up selling them to the Fireflies. Then he gets killed by Tess afterwards. But on the TV version he was selling a used up battery to sell it to the fireflies and then killed by them.

Hi, I'm a MoCap performer and gotta say The Naughty Dog has always had an amazing team of cutscene writers and directors. These showrunners really did a justice to the video game.
Also wanted to share a painful story of mine about the new Resident Evil Remakes.
In late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the RE 2 Remake.
I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part...
Now, many years later, when I see how successful those remakes are I can't forgive myself for wasting such a chance.

Correct me if i am wrong, but i believe Joel NEVER pointed a gun at Ellie's head at any point in the game??? That's a part of their meeting here that really didnt sit right with me in regards to the beginning of their relationship
But his finger is never on the trigger in this scene. It establishes himself as a danger that is stronger than her without actually threatening Ellie.

I want to like it, but the acting is sooooo stiff and unnatural.
They are all puking their lines out as if they are timed.
The tone is off, it all feels rushed, no emotion. It's like my nephew's elementary school play. Not that this is the only show guilty of it, RoP and Star wars are 100% what this scene is: dead.
Apart from Marlene, who is apparently the voice actress from the game.
So disappointing.
