Thank you Frank, for all you do for jazz guitar playing as both a top tier performer and a teacher.
I like the all-info no-hype approach.
Youre not only a great musician but also a great teacher!
Thank you for all you do in the spirit of music!😊
Damn, even just the first few minutes of playing that pattern over blues changes was so enlightening
Great lesson Frank , cheers ! Always wanted to jam with you 👍
Say hi to Jimmy B.
Love your playing.
Learning these pieces of jazz ‘language’ is the way.. thanks from 🇦🇺
More than just hitting the notes, you really show how important it is to swing it. Thanks for posting.
Thanks so much for posting these lessons, Frank! You're one of the all-time greats and you teach these ideas so clearly that I refer my students to you all the time.
Excellent idea to make an instructional video about Charlie Christian's music. It was the mother milk that nourished my guitar playing while I was learning it. Every jazz guitar student should study his solo's.
What a great teacher! You turn the simple, understandable things into a rich and fertile field to play in and explore. Great can't describe what you are as a musician.
Frank Vignola is the best
This is absolutely great. Its really helping me explore this sound. You build it up so simply and clearly but its really powerful.
One of the best lesson videos I've ever seen. Simple but super effective. Thank you, Frank! Your Truefire courses are great too.
Thanks much, you have a gift for both playing and teaching

Amazing lessons from a true master, thank you so much for that! Nice BF Princeton reverb in the background too!
This is such a great lesson. So simple, but so effective.
So much fun💯🔥
Breaking down the riffs in this way is incredibly helpful, and building a little pick speed and dexterity is always needed lol thanks so much
Grande Maestro, grande chitarrista !!!
Bless you Frank 22:10. This is the best Intro to CC Swing I have come across. Love your style of teaching.
I liked the chord changes. Thanks for posting!
I might be late to the party, but that was the coolest thing going on in RUclips land
Thank you for a great lesson… really cleaned a lot of things up for me

As great a player as you are,
l think you're an even better teacher.

watch your lessons all day long.

an excellent lesson. love the format. E
amazing tutor! thanks!
Great...thank you
Frank, I'd love a Truefire course on Charlie's style, Just an analysis of what he's doing on "Stompin at the Savoy" and "Swing to Bop" from the Minton recordings would be great. And, I believe, a big seller.
Great playing and teaching here. It’s a joy to play along. Thank you for these practice sessions.
A while ago I came across an interview with you for Jazz Guitar Today where you mentioned a workshop in France in 2023.
Does this still take place ? I’m from Luxemburg and am very interested in participating.
Cheers and thanks again
This has been so helpful and a very fun lesson. Thank you! I would really love to know the chords you’re playing while you’re accompanying.
Gréât lesson from Paris. When will Côme to Paris ? Tanks very much again
Great stuff Frank 😎 does anyone know what backing track programme he uses?
Who did B.B. King list as early influences ? T Bone Walker , Charlie Christian and Django Reinhardt .
Can you imagine Charlie with your equipment?
Thanks so much. Question: Why does an Eb note work over a C7 chord , which contains an E natural? Thanks.
New Guitar?
Great lesson. What is the backing track?
I can follow the beginning but get lost when you start expanding the basic riff. I’m not sure what notes you’re playing although I try to match them by ear. You don’t name them in the video. Does your course include pdfs with the notes? I’ll need them no as a check upon my ear.
