While I don't disagree with the points you make, there are other considerations.

For instance someone who earns between £50-80k in the UK can expect to pay 40% while in the US only around 22%. A person who earns the equivalent of over £330k in the US would still pay 5% less in tax than a £50-80k earner in the UK.

Singapore and the US are completely different because the US has an insane gun culture. Here in the UK, pepper spray is an offensive weapon and we are not allowed it. That's fine, because we are also not allowed to carry knives or guns as weapons. Know how many times I, as a woman, have felt unsafe on the street in the 51 years I have been in the UK? Three times. Each time, I was fine without any weapon. Everywhere except the US is safe, because only you are crazy enough to let everyone have guns.
The fact that you are confused by not having weapons shows how screwed up you are by America's gun culture. If you used pepper spray on an animal in the UK, you would be arrested for animal cruelty.
You'll get debates about guns in the comments every time you express support for gun culture, because your country has mass shootings, even of small children, because none of you get why weapons are bad.

    • @carlhartwell7978
      @carlhartwell7978 2 года назад

_'Everywhere except the US is safe'_ That's an insane thing to say!
Would you rather live in an average part of Rio de Janeiro or Lagos, or an average part of (even) Los Angeles or New York? Be serious!
It's not like I don't see 'issues' with US gun culture (as a Brit particularly), but I also see positives. Also it's not like we in Britain don't have a problem with (specifically young people) knifing each other to death!
Another fact you or indeed others might not be aware of is that something around 62% of gun deaths in the US are suicides...it's just the easiest way. But suicides in the US are just a little over double that of the UK (and at that, not much more than Finland or Belgium where guns are also pretty much banned).
So basically, we in the UK can 'boast' that we have half the suicide rate, but not so much boast about our record of knife related murder...
Also, the next most prevalent form of gun deaths in the US are those in which the perpetrators are illegal gun owners, and it's not like we don't have a problem with illegal gun ownership leading to deaths in the UK.
      Guns don't kill, people do.
But going back to those original words of yours I quoted, it's ludicrous for anyone to think that the US is THE MOST UNSAFE PLACE [in the world] totally batshit crazy.
Do I like guns (particularly as a Brit)? NO! I'd rather live in a world like a sci fi book I once read called 'The Trigger' co written by the great A.C.Clarke (great book in which a 'device' was discovereded to basically 'trigger' any explosive [Gunpowder to TNT] that came within its radius of influence) and I thought, fuck yeah!!!
But that 'device' doesn't exist. And in the book, it was made clear that if the people couldn't 'have it' neither could 'the government', so the fictional president installed this device in the White House (meaning obviously no guns in or around the White House...(of course he still installed archers on the rooftops...no joke!) and that's the crux. That's the point of the 2nd.
If the government has it, the people must also have it. Otherwise (and I would ask this directly of you, even if this is the only point you address), how is any potentially tyrannical government to be held to account by its citizenry, without being given access to at least 'close' to equal force? And please don't say 'tyrannical governments are unlikely to rise again' that's just naive.

s@@erkijoeleht8 Just to say, I didn't mention fist fights to the death, I mentioned particularly knife crime (I could have also mentioned gun crime in England as well).
It isn't _so_ much easier (either psychologically or physically) to kill someone with a knife than with a gun...and knives a far more easily accessible, like I say though we also have a major problem with illegal gun ownership as well as illegal knife use in at least all major inner cities in the UK.
I take your point that it is easier, but if a gang member wants to kill another gang member, they will just as easily use whatever means is available. It's not the weapon that kills, it's the agent, with the intent, using the weapon.
And again, guns protect the property and lives of far more law abiding citizens in the US than take the lives of law abing citizens...the gangsters and thugs can take responsibility for their actions. I am only going to 'cry' for them to the extent that (usually) their mothers and fathers ought to have taken more responsibility.
I personally lament the fact that I'm not allowed to protect myself, my property and my loved ones with a sure fire deterrent in my country, as well as have the combined power of my fellow citizens, to hold OUR government 'in check'.
It's a travesty of, quite honestly gargantuan proportions.
And I'm happy that the forefathers of Britain's (very much younger) cousin, the US, had the foresight to put such a philosophy into not only the founding principles of the US, but also in 2nd place! Good for them!

Everyone gets military level training in how to safely use, maintain and securely store their guns. They don't have their loaded gun in the bedside table, and accidentally shoot their family after coming home late at night. Their children don't find it and accidentally or on purpose shoot their little sibling or neighbour kid. They get used at the gun range, cleaned and locked up in a safe straight away when they're done.

3:18 Charging at someone with a gun is a really good option if you want to get killed. Unless you're already at melee range that is literally the last thing you should do.
Here are the main problems the USA need to fix:
    1) Healthcare, including the madness that is "sick days". There is no number of days that people are sick per year. In the USA many employers offer like 5 sick days - as if that would be controllable by the person who gets sick. Her ein Germany you go to the doctor and he/she gives you a Krankmeldung for the employer and he also decides about the time (which obviously depends on the reason why you need the Krankenschein - a broken leg requires another time period to recover than a common cold). Your workplace is protected by law (which means you cannot get fired) and you're payed 100 % of your paycheck by the employer for the first 6 weeks and if recovery takes longer than 6 weeks your health insurance will take over and pay 80 % of your paycheck for up to 78 weeks.
    2) The lack of gun controll and the sky high murder rates per capita that are the consequence of this.
    3) Education (as in start teaching people how the world really is and the USA's place in it instead of yeehaa USA propaganda) and tuition fees (which are ridiculous).
    4) The jail system. All the USA do with their take on throwing as much people as possible in jail and treat them as poorly as possible while in jail without offering them any help is producing hardened criminals with no opportunities to stay clean of crime after they left because almost no one will give them a job and the state offers no help. How is someone supposed to stay away from crime if you take away literally every chance for them to make a living?
    5) Worker's rights and protections (or the lack thereof in the USA). The level of expoitation that happens in the USA is almost unheared of in the rest of the world.
Regarding your take on the gun problem - we already discussed that in another video and I stand by my opinion that your take on the issue is wrong.
According to insider.com the USA had 214 (!) mass shootings in 2022 alone so far - and considering that we're still in May it seems likely that this number will increase significantly (fyi: a mass shooting is defined as a shooting with 4 or more people getting shot).
Something like the Robb Elementary school shooting which happened on May 25th in Uvalde, Texas is something that simply doesn't happen elsewhere (orat least extremely rarely).
Here's a list of the number of school shootings from 2009-2018 in the 19 countries with the most school shootings according to worldpopulationreview.com:
    - Azerbaijan, China, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Kenya, Russia, & Turkey: 1 shooting each
    - Brazil, Canada, France: 2 shootings each
    - Afghanistan: 3 shootings
    - Nigeria & Pakistan: 4 shootings each
    - India: 5 shootings
    - South Africa: 6 shootings
    - Mexico: 8 shootings
    - USA: 288 shootings
288 shootings in the USA alone in these 9 year period against 45 shootings in the entire rest of the world. That's a direct consequence of the insanity that is the lack of gun regulation in the USA. Since the list includes the countries with the most school shootings and starts with countries whith 1 occurance this also implies that no other country had a school shooting at all (obviously excluding countries in open warfare - if schools are destroyed in warfare these are not counted as school shootings but are part of the war dead statistics).
The Uvalde mass shooting was the 27th school shooting in the USA in 2022 btw.
Speaking of the costs for free education and free healthcare for everyone...these are actually less than 1/3 of the US defence spending. And it should be mentioned that according to a congress hearing only 45 % of the US defence spending is actually spent on the US military, the rest vanishes in dark channels and in the end in the pockets of the CEOs and shareholders of the industrial military complex.

And this is coming form the kid who looked at school as the place to get In trouble cuss out the teachers get into fights all that stupid shit. Not once did I ever think let's shoot up the school. So I’m from California and I currently live in Sydney Australia, been here for 5 years on temporary visas .
One of the many times I realized America messed me up was the fact that when covid hit the government out here was supporting and helping it’s people by paying them $700 untaxed a week every week to stay home be safe and take care of one another and they would give you these payments so you could afford rent , groceries, medicine , etc while not working and they are able to do that cause they actually use some of peoples tax dollars to save for situations like this so they can support you when you need it if something happens beyond your control .. I’m not even a citizen or a permanent resident and this country was taking care of me and supporting me … the fact that another country paid me and supported me when they didn’t have to was such a huge eye opener on a government actually taking care of its people even if you’re not a resident or citizen of the country . Blew my mind and made me realize how much the American government doesn’t really even care about it’s people all they care about is finding ways to put a price tag on things and make money even in the most inhumane situations . The shooter had a crossbow... imagine he had two assault rifles instead... That is the difference, not the people, not the mental state, not the fact that we do not have any nutjobs... It`s plain and simple gun control. If you want to drive a car, you need to learn how to drive it safely and can only drive responsibly where it is ok to operate a car... same with guns, if you want a gun, you need to get a proper license, need to store, maintain and operate it according to the law. For the poorest of the poor, healthcare and education is also free, but sometimes the quality is lower than if you were in a paying school or University or in a private hospital. I had major surgery in 2017 at a cost of R45 ($3). Both my daughter and sons studied with the help of the government, they even got free spending money and data. By the way, my daughter is now a doctor and my son has a degree in political science. The gub violence we have, is basically limited to gangsters of taxi operators or drug dealers protecting their turf. O yes, we also have lots of poor people, but most of them live in small 30 square metre (320 square feet) houses with services highly subsidised or even free. Others live in self constructed shacks. just a quick example of the cost to us in australia for health insurance. we are taxed at 19%($25k - $45K), 32%($45k - $120K), 37%($120k - $180K) or 45%($180k+), add 1% or your income if you earn over about $40K per year, 1.5% at about $90K and 2% at about $180K, for the medicare(public system) levy. if you have private health insurance you don't pay the levy. we also have your equivalent to sales tax at 10%, maybe 11% but it's built into the price, if something is $50 then the sales tax is already included. so these are flat tax rates, reduce them however you can, salary sacrifice, fringe benefits, etc.
seeing a doctor if you're on low income may cost $25, usually free and clinics are not hard to find, for middle income maybe $50 after medicare or private health rebates, plenty of private practice doctors to choose from, assuming they're taking on new patients.
now, if you break your arm you go to the ER get it fixed then go home. you don't touch your wallet unless providing ID buying painkillers or medication and the best you'll get is something like panadol forte(24mg codeine) if you're lucky, excellent for headaches, toothaches and hangovers but not when i had broken ribs, even then they said just take regular panadol. still, it was free care and i was patched up so i'm not going to cry over not being given painkillers and i can buy panadol with 12mg codeine if i need them, i'd prefer a joint anyway so that's what i had.
appendix, hip, shoulder, leg surgery and so on all covered, less than $20 for insulin or epipen and the majority of medications are cheap, especially life saving ones. none of it will cover cosmetic surgery unless it's a legitimate health concern.
our healthcare is focused on preventative care which is about reducing costs down the road. find the cancer early and prevent high care high cost medical attention down the road. after turning 50 i got a free bowel testing kit in the mail, men at my age are prone to prostate cancer, etc.
if you want private insurance all good, then you don't pay any of the levy. if you have partial private health, this covers things our system doesn't cover like dental, a private room, surgery sooner, acupuncture or specialised care and so. my private health meant the moment i learned my appendix had to come out it was gone that afternoon, my mate had to wait a week in the public system and the differences were, the menu, his scar is a bit bigger than the nail on your thumb, mine is the length of a pen and i had a $200 excess.
sorry for the rant, just wanted to break it down and maybe make it simpler to understand another countries healthcare system, it's not perfect but it works and most of us are happy with it.
enjoying your videos keep up the good work and wish you all the best.

Here's a thought on your reaction to people's opinions on guns in the vids:
You're astonished at these people being scared after hearing what they thought was a gun. They're not afraid of the bang. They're afraid of dying, of seeing people around them die, and for the guy who was teaching in Thailand, afraid that the little kids around them are about to die. Get these people to a controlled situation like a gun range, give them thorough lessons on how to handle the gun safely, let them shoot the gun in those controlled conditions. They'll still panic if they hear a bang out in public. That shit takes years to get over, just ask combat veterans how long it took them to stop reacting to innocent stuff that triggered a memory from their time in service. People aren't afraid of kitchen knives, they're afraid of the guy running around stabbing people. And your country is making it stupidly easy for anyone to get a gun. And there's so many guns out there that it would be impossible to do buy backs and no questions asked hand ins. The government would never put up enough money to do buy backs for everyone willing to hand in their guns, and lots of people won't just hand them in for nothing, even if they're willing to hand them in for money. Your country is fucked until you get rid of lobbyists and the NRA goes down.

And for medication its usually 5€ per prescription at the pharmacy. Some insurances have contracts with pill manufacturers so if you are lucky the medication also can be free. And your insurance can free you of this costs too if this is like more than 2-4% or your income. If you reach the cap (which usually only chronically ill people do) everything above is free. Its checked annually This includes 10€s for hospitals and all medication. You only have to ask for recipes at the pharmacy that have your name on it so you can show it to your insurance. Some pharmacys can give you a print out if you always go to the same one.

But I personally think, as you said, that you remain calm and even when you share your opinion, it is not to convince people but to explain your pov. And this is much appreciated by most and even educational for others that might struggle with the définition of a sane debate. And as you say, since this is a sensitive topic, some react emotionally or just repeat what they read instead of developping their thoughts and that is why I strongly believe that you could have a very positive impact if you react to such videos because you have the capacity to give an opinion without disrespecting those who share différent views. That could serve as an example for some. But it is your channel and you do whatever you want. Many youtubers forget that.

You hit the nail on the head 1/2 way through thinking Americans may be the most self centred all for ourselves people in the world and everything won't change because the majority think like that. Save /help myself first then maybe help someone else.
America is so illogical. Your age of consent is 17, to have sex is 17, to drive is 15 or 16, to drink is 21. So you're able to have smarts to get out of a situation while driving at 16(God knows how) yet not able to decide whether you're mature enough to have sex or be accountable for your actions until you're 17. To me the most damage to others you can do is drive a car, it's more of a weapon therefore you shouldn't be able to drive until later. In Australia where I am age if consent, sex and driving all start at 17, you can drink alcohol at 18. Half the jails are most probably filled with people who were charged with DUI, or intoxication in public.

so, true stories (not an american here). I had an accident in spain and broke a tooth. I went to the dental emergency in a hospital, got treated, drugs and a prescription, total cost: 30 euro. A couple of years later I was wrestling with a wisdom tooth and it had the great plan of popping out (breakinhg the gum) in a flight landidng in Albuqerque (trust me the pain was baaad). I asked my colleagues in Albuquerque if I could get treated and they asked me how would I pay, I said I have international insurance, they said nooooooooooo, cash or credit baby, no freaking foreing insurance. So, I asked: how much would it be to take the sucker out, the answer: $600 because it was only one and they would need to put me under. I went and bought pain killers (no the good ones) and popped them like candy. Took the plane back to the Netherlands 3 days later and got the tooth out for 30 euro, wich was the cost of the (kick ass) pain killers i had to use after. Heath care man, the downfall of the US.
BTW, I pay 239euro for insurance per year for 3 people (2 adults and one kid) and when my kid's appendix had to be removed, he got operated and my wife stayed with him in the hospital for one night including supper and breakfast. Total cost 40euro

I am by no means an expert on the subject of health care, but I want to give you a brief overview of how ours works. I am currently unemployed and my husband and I are doing IVF procedures. In Bulgaria, every worker pays for health , pension, maternity insurance, etc. You do not understand at all how much your insurance is, because most of it is paid by the employer. In my case of being unemployed, I pay for my own health insurance. At the moment they are a little under 30 BGN. $1=1.94 BGN. Well, everyone pays their health fees every month, the country also spends a significant amount of its budget on people's health and a rather large sum is collected. From these amounts, the health fund pays doctors and hospitals. When you are insured, you pay very small amounts to the doctor, such as a fee of 4-5 BGN for a visit to a general practitioner or specialist. If you want to go to a specialist who has a private practice, the examinations are about BGN 30- 50 each. For emergencies, it doesn't matter if you're insured or not, if it's an emergency they examine you, if you get into an accident or need surgery they treat you. No one will take you back from the emergency room. The birth of babies is an emergency. You can't give up giving birth and go next week. I'll give you an example. Last year I had a major operation. I chose to pay for a team of surgeons because I wanted a specific surgeon to operate on me. This cost me additionally about BGN 300. Everything else - examinations, tests, medicines before and after the operation were free - the health insurance covers them. 7 days in hospital. At discharge I owed about $20-$30 in hospital fees. If I had not chosen this surgeon, but the one on shift, I would have paid only this 20 - 30 $ Here I must say, we are a small country of about 6 million people and we are the poorest country in the EU. Many of our hospitals are not new, shiny and beautiful.

Something I, a German, find really strange in the US, that has nothing to do with the video is the censoring and the legal ages. Don't get me wrong. Maybe I am too biased because, you know, I am German, but for me it it seems strange, that sexuality, nudity and swearing has to be heavily censored but violence is ok. Here it is the other way around. Yeah, you don't swear in front of kids but a song on the radio can be played here the same as it is written without there having to be a special radio edit version with cut out swears. Even in video games that happens. Forza Horizon 5 has a great song in it ruined because it is the censored version that ruins the flow of the song. And back when everyone downloaded music from sites you where really frustrated when you got the new song from your favourite american musician and then it was a radio edit.
Nudity and sexuality here are something natural. You can watch documentaries about that or even porn here on free tv after a certain time of the day where kids and teens usually sleep. In the US I heard it is a big no no. We have videogames and movies censored sometimes because of violence. That is annoying too but somehow I find that easier to accept.
    And the legal limits.
In the US it is ok for a 16 year old kid to drive a car, a sometimes several tons weighing weapon basically, but alcohol is too hard to handle for them so they need to wait for that for another 5 years.
    That seems strange to me.
Here, you can start driving alone with 18 years and after passing a hard and expensive driving test, compared to many or even all other countries, and you can drink alcohol at the same age too.
That was what I find strange and you may interesting. If I assumed something from the US wrong, I am sorry, please correct me.
Now what I would like you to watch:
You should watch Geography Now Germany. I am pretty sure, you will like it. The mentioned things are not part of that vide. Turn subtitles on, because on screen are some small errors and they are correct in the subtitles. Also when he talks about bread you have to put another 0 at the end of the number. But in general it is a really great and informative video.
It is the most popular video of Geography Now and for good reason but all their videos are good.

His fear stems from the abundance of weapons among criminals, if there was a massive seize of weapons from gun owners, the fear is that it will become a purge in the same way.
It's a typical fear among U.S citizens, much more on the gun owner side, at least that's what I've gathered so far.

It just doesn’t seem to work in the US. Too many accidents and waaaaay too many shootings. I can’t figure out why nobody wants it to be stricter 🤷‍♀️. I’m not saying ban it altogether but the way it is now… I just mean I would care less about random ass peoples’ rights than children’s lives. Children are supposed to learn Maths in school, not how to survive an assault rifle attack. It’s very difficult to watch people screaming about the second amendment like they would lose the ability to breathe or something if they couldn’t own a gun, when people get shot to death in malls, churches and schools. Of course, I’m not accusing anyone in particular, I mean it’s how it looks like on TV and social media. The focus should be on how to eliminate gun deaths of children, not some personal “right” about something other developed nations clearly manage without. And I don’t mean rights aren’t important, but they are easier to understand when they’re about fresh air, clean water and affordable healthcare, and not a deadly weapon. If the US is so incredibly dangerous to live in that normal people are at risk at being shot anytime and they feel the need to protect themselves with like military weapons, shouldn’t some thought be designated to that problem and how to solve so many criminals roaming free and wanting to murder people in their sleep? (I hope I’m not offending anyone. I’m honestly curious and interested and I’m well aware of that Sweden isn’t comparable with the US and I certainly don’t hate the US nor Americans, quite the opposite really - I just don’t get this obsession with guns 🤷‍♀️.)

@@DudeSaysThings Yeah, RUclips only allows you to pin the original poster of the comment, no worries.
I wanted to add about your statement on school shooters, I firmly believe that stricter regulations on storing weapons is key here.
As most of these were caused by a student taking their parent's gun, usually just stored in an unlocked box, instead of a proper safe.
Doesn't mean that it can't still happen, but the chances are decreased at least, there are many more steps needed to take to do that act.
To be fair, I think that is generally the first step is stricter regulations, more safety training and learning the responsibility and consequences of using one.
I think general gun disputes will happen less, less weapons being taken by irresponsible owners and that will allow police to put more effort on the criminal side, slowly but steadily dismantle that over time,
while putting more effort in preventing it from coming in the country, especially as technology is advancing.
The goal is to reach a point where there are too many risks involved firing a firearm as a criminal, as it attracts too much attention and most likely will use other means like knives, blunt objects, fake guns, etc.
But, as you said, then there is the chance that criminals will target those who does not have a firearm in their house and it will be all relied on police response, which many U.S citizens do NOT like at all, from my understanding.
Basically, they don't trust that the police can and would rather do it themselves mindset.

The more I see videos about the USA more dumbfounded I'm about American logic. From what I see American freedom is giving people the right to own everything, no matter how socially and morally unacceptable to give control of some sectors to the private sector and don't regulate them on a national scale. This type of uncontrolled freedom gives an opportunity for a small group of public unelected individuals to dictate prices for the general public of the country that should be managed by elected people who represent the views and means of the living who elected them. Now, the government gets taxes from people and divides it to finance sectors that mostly are privately owned. And even those sectors performances are not orientated in average person means of living and goes way being and above from being affordable, the government does nothing to curb it, or stabilize it,. Law system - privately owned, prison system private business it is already a conflict of interest cause both of those privately, money earning driven systems can create and increase demand and supply as they wish and get paid by government more money by doing so. It is also very nice when your gun control is shit so both sectors always thrive. The government in the USA is just an American taxes money dealer from what I see. They do nothing for people. Healthcare - privately owned, insurance - government don't care, social security - absurd disgrace. Only rich people can feel secure in the USA, But strangely despite the rich being the smallest class in the USA, the general American attitude regardless of which social class he is being at this time is an attitude like they are future rich people. And others who are less fortunate and have minor aspirations can go fuck themselves. So when it comes to talking about social security or medical care for all so many of them are ready to fight for their tax money. When they get basically already get the basically worst return on taxes they pay to the government of the whole industrialized world but just keep ignoring it, cause it will not gonna matter when they will become rich one day. It's just so bizarre.
Guns. I keep hearing Americans say "it is not guns it is people. " OFC it is people. Americans are the problem to themselves. When they think about their gun they only see their need to be safe. That thinking is too narrowminded. Me. Mine, For me. I gonna do it myself better than anyone else is so prominent in their mentality the government keep pushing on them it is unhealthy. If 70 percent, of another insane number like that of the population, has a gun, everyone, in general, would feel threatened by the percentage of odds they have, that gun could be used against them. So everyone would always be more trigger happy, cause they are scared. And scared for good reason. From cops to civilians to criminals. Everyone is ready to use their gun. Some to protect themselves, some others, some to do harm. But everyone is ready. And when you are constantly ready, you act.
That is why In a home invasion situation when the intruder expects the homeowner to have a gun there will be a higher chance to be shooting in the house. Cause both people expect they will gonna get shot at. If only criminals had guns, there would be way fewer murders at robberies too. Not every robber intends to use that gun when there are no threats in return. Less small fish criminals would feel the necessity to take a gun at all if there was zero to little chance the owner has a gun ready too. Now it is a necessity even for a criminal who doesn't intend to do any physical harm to anyone, to have a gun as a tool to protect himself (how freaking ironic that is).
As a homeowner in my country why in the world I would ever go and interact with the criminal at all?. What kind of logic it is? I have my shit insured( OFC in USA Insurance companies are ripping off people, cause government control on them is laughable, so Americans might not). I can buy new shit and police will try to catch a guy when it is all over. I have one time to live. The percentage of that criminal having intent to harm me when he is stealing is very low. It is an unnecessary racket, higher sentences in court, and lost time. Honestly, I can't remember any case like in at least 5 years that I would have heard on the news where someone was shot at a robbery in their home in my country. We just don't have guns as civils, so people who get desperate when times get hard financially, or depressed or in a murderous mindset and they turn to crime, they just don't own it already from when they had it all good going for them. it is hard for petty criminals to get their hands on a gun. And if they do, how many do you think are adequate in using it to actually pinpoint a target for a kill shot? When it is hard to get guns it is hard to also become a good shooter.
Only very few criminals out of all pool of them are freaking psycho murderers. American civilians prepare like they all are and they all come to kill them in their sleep. And in taking the situation into their own hands by buying guns in return they create a situation where they and their families are in more danger than they should be if there would be fewer guns in the general population reach in general. The USA government is negligible for letting this happen to their people. Times of Wild West ended long ago, but not the attitude of it in the USA citizens.

Australians cannot have weapons including pepper spray, no tasers and I have never needed these things. We use Private hospitals, there is always a choice of wine or beer with dinner. Not for me, I cannot have alcohol or sugar but my sister has fun.

About the school shootings you are right i think, the people need to get fixed. Because honestly, in other countries where there are not many guns people could just use a knife or an axe instead.
So either it is about the people living in the US or guns in general that make the decision an easier one?
I certainly don't know the answer to that question but i hope someone does and that it will lead in to a better and less crime riddled future.

german here. i don't think it's messed up to help yourself first before you help others. i think that's normal. but doing something that's beneficial to everyone should be a no brainer. talking about health insurance here. i'm not the wealthiest, but i'm also not poor, i make about 50k€ a year (before tax and social insurances, which take about a quarter to a third of that) and that allows me to have a quite comfortable lifestyle. i don't that would be possible in the states. especially since housing, rent etc is even more expensive than here and you have co-pays and all that even with insurance.

The reason I said that was because if that's my mindset I'd imagine my mindset is shared by alot of people who could fix things and don't because they are getting a payday form the bs we need to find away to make it less beneficial for them to be fkin us over

Insurance in Sweden depends on what you insure. The girl we watched if i understood right was there to study and likely have a appatment for students so then 100 dollar a year sounds about right. But if you add family, house, car/s, lifeinsurance, animal insurance, healthcare outside of our healthcare system well just normal stuff nothing superfancy probably around 500+ dollar a year

@@DudeSaysThings Yeah that is true and i hope it will change for you guys at some point. But as i said before the young generation in the US need to make their voice heard. It is not possible to make up this lies anymore because internet shows that what ever politicians trying to make up you can check it and get real info, they need to start looking at the truth and not trying to make something up and hope noone notice.
