    Penn State played a ridiculous schedule in 1995 - nine opponents in the SRS top 30, five of which were top 20, and 3 of which were top 10. They went 9-3, and 2 of those losses were partly screwjobs by the refs (Ohio State (Eddie George fumbled) and Northwestern (phantom holding + 2 nonsense PIs for NW). All told, a great team that year.
