They should bring Raven back imo, that was our squid games
@@camkirkhambabyy it actually was niw i think of it lmao
I’m pretty sure they temporarily did with some woman instead of the original person
Raven represents Scotland's Goths 🖤
They still do dodgy boxes now
Bit disturbing but yes
A kid the year above me in school went on both Raven AND Jungle Run, he was an absolute school celebrity. I'm still envious of him to this day
Just showing off going on both
@@camkirkhambabyyi
Damb always wanted to go on both especially Jungle run. What a lucky guy.
Damn, that is the only reason to be jealous.
Anyone remember Wolfblood, the sparticle mystery, nowhere boys, MI high, Young Dracula etc. ?? the live action shows on CBBC was really fucking good and had no right to be so. The shows still hold up.
I read this and INSTANTLY I was like omg the theme to Wolfblood popped into my head, I used to love that, Sparticle Mystery, MI-High like they were amazing
Oh my gods i recognize the name sparticle mystery
@@Saturnm0ssall the people above the age 15 (I believe) disappear and the children try to survive and discover how to bring them back and what happened😂 I remember loving it
@@ellepoynton5225 I binged watched Wolfblood and bunch of these shows recently. I appreciate them way more now
All of the above and other than the Spartical Mystery I was a die hard fan of all of them, age 25 and still am.
Coming home from school then sticking your favourite childhood show on was one of the best experiences as a child
Actually gets is emotional thinking of trapped
anyone remember out of the box?
@@ChuchiiChoome it was so good
Trapped! was terrifying to me as a child. I genuinely believed that if they didn't escape each room, they had to stay there...trapped forever😭
@@mooncookier OG Among Us
I remember thinking the whole tower was stuck inside the crystal ball thing the giant guy used to watch the challenges
Thinking about it The Traitors is a modern day adult version of this Haha
Ollie Pike (OlliPop) as Wily Sneak... I think he should have led the show, personally.
@@leefisher6366 I find it really interesting how Wily, I swear in one of the episodes it was mentioned he was one of the kids trapped but got out, and decided to work there for whatever reason. And saying Wily Sneak got you a chance to challenge the trapper (in the opening song), so I wonder what the password was before Wily Sneak.
'TV shows ONLY British kids will remember' actually needs to be a series - WANT WANT to see My parents are aliens, get your own back, Bernard's watch and our national treasure.. BRUM
Brum got up to the maddest antics, hits different now cars are gradually gaining sentience!
loved bernards watch and my parents are aliens (thought their was something stranger about you)
I used to love watching, “almost naked animals “ growing up but I could never remember the name when I tried to bring it up in conversation 😂
Another few I liked was Danger Mouse and Teen Titans
omg almost naked animals just unlocked a core memory
Teen Titans was the best!
At 31 still watch Chucklevision sometimes to cheer me up . My favourite show as a kid! When I was 17 I went with my family to see their live show. My idea, wanted to see them since I was a young kid. Met Paul and Barry after the show. Rip Barry
As a kid, my favourite shows were:
Sarah Jane Adventures - a doctor who spinoff starring one of his companions back in the 70's who returned for a few David Tennant episodes.
And, though not British, Sonic Boom, as I was a huge Sonic fan as a kid and still am at 17.
Good times!
SJA was elite. RIP Lis Sladen
@@nilachekov6881 was devastated when she died.
@jaykilkenny5727 me too. I still go back and re watch episodes every now and then ngl 😂
@nilachekov6881 I'm the same with alot of stuff.
DW or SJA
Pokemon
Spongebob
Sonic
It's a nice reminder of childhood, and guilty pleasures now and then.
Yes! Never seen actual Dr Who but I watched Sarah Jane Adventures and I loved it
Until he died I never knew that Barry was the older brother of the Chuckle Brothers, I'd always assumed Paul was the big brother because he was taller and I was a child, and just never questioned it. Also I was an Art Attack kid, I loved Neil Buchanan and Da Head. Also in this video Cam outs himself as an 18 foot tall crab. Because he's obsessed with things that are Shiny.
Fun Fact: In the clips shown from the episode "I Scream Men" Season 20 Episode 2. The ice-cream man Giovanni and Brian the Council man were played by brothers Jimmy and Brian Elliot another comedy duo who went by the name "the Patton Brothers". And also happened to be Barry and Pauls older brothers.
28, as a kid (and still do as an adult 😄), I absolutely adored Raven, Chucklevision, Dick and Dom, Mystery Hunters, Tweenies, the Wombles, Gross, Funny bones, 64 zoo lane, Sabrina, ed edd n Eddy, cow n chicken, SpongeBob, Grizzly Tales, wild thornberries, rugrats, as told by ginger, Come Outside etc. Man, memories of coming home, having ya tea and catching those gems 😄🤌🏽
🎶64, 64, 64, Zoo lane🎶 Awww I remember such a chill vibe when the giraffe lifts her to her window to put her to bed
Fun fact, big cook taught geography at my secondary school, but he used to get so annoyed when you brought it up so anyone who called him big cook got a detention
HELLO YOU GORGEOUS DONUTS
Hello
When you say this it itches something in my brain that i can’t explain 😂😂
Heyyy
Hello cam
Hello you awsome donut member
I can't carry a piece of furniture between two people and not say "to me, to you". Its physically impossible!
I used to think as a child that 'Thats so Raven' was an after show for 'Raven' , like 'Im a Celebrity, Extra Camp' , so I never gave it a look in for YEARS!?
I didn't understand the concept of different networks yet 😅
I'm sorry this is so fucking funny 😭😭
Cam saying "cook" gives me MAJOR eargasms 💛
Thank you, sir.
Also, thank you for bringing back childhood memories I locked away 😅
out of all the british kids shows, nothing can compete with bear behaving badly
i duno man basil brush was class, my parents are aliens too
I reacted to that one in a previous vid, soo good
My favourite, along with Mi High
@@daisygrace8174mi high was amazing!
Chuckle Vision was a classic! 😂
On 13 April 2008, Speight's body was discovered hanging from the roof of MacMillan House, adjacent to London's Paddington Station, hidden from public view. The discovery was made by railway workers at 10:00 am, and British Transport Police confirmed that the body was Speight's on 14 April
As someone that LOVED Smart, I was wondering when that host's death would be brought up, always stuck with me for some reason
@@Chantelle68I just mentioned it because he talked about Barry chuckle and didn't know if he knew since he didn't mention it.
@@mancuniangamecat8288 I did figure that was why, it's appreciated 😊
Yess another British video i could’ve had a cuppa
Stick the kettle on
15:33 robot wars and battle bots was top tier still find myself going back to it from time to time absolute classic
Battle bots is still televised robot wars still exists just not on television
The Shiny Show just unlocked so many core memories.
I remember how Raven only ever got northerners with the thickest accents, scottish people or the poshest kids from chelsea onto the show you never saw anyone with a normal voice
I used to believe that the children who were on Trapped actually got locked in a tower with no food or water for eternity
*CBBC, CBeebies and CITV had the most elite shows in the 2000s and early 2010s. Also I too genuinely thought that the guy who played Little Cook was actually that small until I saw him on the 4 O’Clock Club. (P.S.* 5:37 *The guy on the right actually unalived himself in like 2008).*
Mark Speight, he hung himself because he was deeply depressed over the death of his fiance, genuinely tragic. I remember hearing it on the radio on the way to school.
There was actually three Chuckle brothers in Chucklevision. Their other brother always played the bad guy. He was the ice-cream man in the clip you showed.
That’s mad!
@@camkirkhambabyy There was actually 4 brothers. The ice cream guy and his brother played the same kinda role in different episodes, but because they looked so similar people didn't notice. Jimmy Elliott and Brian Elliott. Sadly one of them has died now.
@@camkirkhambabyy Their stage name was... "The Patton Brothers" They reminded me very slightly of Donald Trump upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/2f/The_Patton_Brothers_-_29-08-2013.jpg
This Chuckle lore goes deep!
7:12 NAHHHH THAT LITTLE DWEEB WAS MORFH (the other one was at least) THAT SHOW WAS CLASS
My favourite thing about chucklevision is that after it they started to dj and did club appearances constantly. I went to a few and they were actuallu banging
I remember every episode of Raven I'd pick a kid and I'd get really annoyed when they'd lose, so much so i usually wasn't allowed to watch the show because I'd be in a bad mood for the rest of the afternoon and my mum wasn't having it
Swashbucklers was actually an elite show. The theme show is forever stuck in my head 😂
I've met the actor who plays the main women in that show, the one helping the kids to get the gems. She is very nice. She has now written children's books.
@@Em_Rose_thats actually really cool. Glad she’s actually nice irl too
as an ex-pat, living in the netherlands, we were very happy when holland finally allowed BBC on to our cable network, then we finally got to watch Robot Wars, with Sir killalot, Mathilda, lancelot and Sgt Bash, also when i was younger we also had Basil brush, Orville the Duck, Rod Hull and Emu, Rentaghost and Secret valley, good times, thankd for brightening up my day
You forgot that the Shiny Show was a quiz - one of the puppets let the others watch a video, then asked the stupidest questions regarding what they literally just saw... and they sometimes got it wrong.
On the other hand, Robot Wars was epic, especially with Craig Charles.
I'm surprised you didn't bring up kipper. That show was one of my favorites, and it was iconic. If you make another video like this, please add it next time 😊
I used to read those books
Me and my friends used to watch big cook little cook whilst high. It was fabulous, highly recommended. Lol.
There’s nothing better than remembering old shows you used to watch
loving the vids recently cam, can’t wait to watch!
❤️🙌🏻
Oh my God, Raven! That takes me back. I feel like this was a game show before they were even a thing.
It’s both lovely but also terrifying when you’re reminded of something from your childhood you forgot
Can never forget Mister Maker, he was the GOAT
I can remember when watching Horrid Henry as a kid, always despised the mother. She was such an uncaring parent. I was like that with Bella from the Tweenies, I remember yelling shut up at her on the telly and I got told off for using that phrase 😆
The chuckle brothers was amazing as a kid when they did live shows at a theatre they was so down to earth and genuine people to talk to still got their autographs of Paul and Barry
the amount of things i use to wrap in tinfoil because of the shiny show 😂🙈
Raven was the actual goat.. was always a childhood dream to get on this show and potentially get killed off 😂 (100% sticking to the belief the children absolutely died)
Oh my gosh, the nostalgia hit as soon as you said the word raven
when I was like 8 I was at boarding school and we'd eat breakfast super fast so we had time to sneak into a classroom and watch chucklevision the nostalgia is unreal
Something interesting about Horrid Henry is that, in the books, he's GENUINELY a nasty, evil kid who deserves his punishments, whilst in the cartoon, he's a victim of parental abuse and has some behavioural issues.
Wasn't it that Henry acted badly because he knew his parents didn't like him as much as Peter anyways but he was only 8, so he did try once to be good behaved but got punished over him laughing at something and gave up on being anything more
Hearing cam say “hello you gorgeous donuts” just brightened my day! Love you cam ❤
raven was so good and i’m so happy i now have a cam video to watch while i eat!
I love very much that you happened to select all of the shows that I used to obsess over lmao
This has unlocked nostalgia.. I used to pray my application to be on ‘Best of Friends’ would be accepted. That looked unreal when I was 8 years old 😭😭 (the dream never came true)
I remember back in 99 I went to a robot wars show with my family. That show was class! Also, remember jungle run?
takeshi's castle was a banger
My favourite shows Was grizzly tales for gruesome kids/Tracy beaker , Raven/Arthur ,The Simpsons
there was a show called best friends it was like come a challenge show.
my mum love that show as well whenever we will go on holiday sometimes it will be on telly and my mum used to watch it with us as well good memories there
Cam trying his best to be a Chuckle Brother with that haircut 💇♂️😂😘❤
I remember being so so scared of the demons in raven as a child but I couldn’t stop watching the show either 🤣 I do miss the early 2000s tv shows
I was the exact same 😭
''Hello you gorgeous doughnut''.
You sir, have earned yourself a subscription.
Maid Marion and her Merry Men! Written by Tony Robinson AKA Baldrick! There was a day called "High Forks Night" where they threw forks in the air. I kid you not, people, when they hoyed (Geordie for threw) the forks in the air and a line was said " ooh, I haven't had a good toss in ages "! Bloody genius!!!!!
I moved to the USA ten years ago and this was so good to watch!!! Thank you!!! I also sent it to all my American family and friends 😅
When I was about 7 years old, I visited my great aunt for the first (and only) time. She lived near by to the raven obstacle course, where it was filmed. I was so excited when I got to visit it. 😂
i was just about to eat dinner and thought “i need to watch cam” and HERE YOU ARE KING
To this day... I cannot say "oh dear" without going "oh dear oh dear" like the chuckle brothers 😅
Anyone else remember when they did ‘Raven: The Island’ and it seemed like the craziest most exciting thing in the world
the way u could see his inner child js comin out in him at times is js adorable not tryna sound weird ❤😂
omg this is soo good. i luv cam. thank you for blessing my day. it is definitely a good day to be a donut 🍩 😁😊
Raven was my absolute favourite as a child, I swear it never gets mentioned in the nostalgic shows but it was so good
Love you and your videos so much! You've basically saved me mentally and I appreciate you so Much! ❤:)
I loved raven but somehow always used to miss it when it came on lol. Even as a kid I could see it was lower budget but the lore and costume/set design low key slapped, those British medieval fantasy elements just hit different on screen.
But the best kids' challenge show was definitely Jungle Run... the sets went so hard for no reason, I even had a look back at an episode recently and the set and lighting was so good they literally don't make them like that anymore, and christmas/celebrity specials were even more high budget. Also when I was really young I was like "they ARE going to let them out... right?" haha.
Not having swashbucklers go on here is a crime
Oh my god! I didn't know anyone else called it a 'dodgy box'! Love that
cramp twins was one of those shows on at like 10pm it was like forbidden tv
Lucian Cramp top tier evil child 👌😄
@@pirate_duck4985 and little Tony Parsons from the swamp 😁
Idk why byt the ones that always stuck with me were :baby Jake, grandpa in my pocket, Balamory, Charlie and lola, Gigglebiz, Topsy and Tim, Chuggington, the rubbadubbers, there was also that show with the lady who had the teddy bears called Mish, Mush and Mugo. There was also Dr Ranj, Danger mouse, the adventures of Abney and teal, Octonauts, the furchester hotel, Nina and the neurons, Sarah and duck, Waybuloo, Justins house, The clangers, tinga tinga tales, Numberjacks, Messy and the okeydoes, Hey duggee, Mr bloom, Rastamouse😂, Andy's adventures(he had too many spinoff series to name😂)
Bing bunny, Show me Show me.
Any ways those were the ones that really stuck to the back off my brain😂❤
Oh and one more i forgot that i LOVED was old jack's boat.
I was so sad when i found out that old Jack passed away not too long ago😢❤
You need to have a look at kids shows from the 90s. Duckula, Dr Zitbags Transylvanian Pet Shop, Super Ted, Bananaman, Woof, Demon Headmaster, The Queens Nose, Animals of Farthing Wood, Kenan And Kel, Sabrina, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, X-Men, Animaniacs, Wild Thorneberrys, Round The Twist, Rupert The Bear, Inspector Gadget, Gogs, Bodger And Badger, Bernards Watch, Byker Grove, Dreamstone, Finders Keepers, Fun House, Mike And Angelo, My Parents Are Aliens, Raggy Dolls, Wolves Witches and Giants, Dramarama, Knightmare, Maid Marion And Her Merry Men, Garfield And Friends, Thomas And Friends, Trap Door, Biker Mice From Mars, Ghostbusters, Spiderman...
You missed out on some excellent stuff
Ahhh god i miss these shows, my favourites were Trapped, Jungle Run and Grizzly tales for gruesome kids.
I swear little cook did a tv show called F*** off im ginger? 😂 please tell me ive not just imagined that
BBC Three you are correct.
I watched it too.
I'm never gonna forget watching Rory the racing car at my grandma's house if I woke up early with my brother 🥲
Nawww Raven and The Shiny Show were my JAAAAAAM I feel it explains my personality now to a tee, intense at times but fun and sparkly the rest of the time lol. But yeah 90s kids had the best TV and some of the weirdest, Raven was unusually dark and mystical and The Grimm Tales of Billy & Mandy was odd what i find the most traumatic is Grimm shocking Caribbean accent.
It was wild that everyone's obsessed with these deadly game shows and we had kids getting locked in dark temple chambers and getting vaporised by a sorcerer on CBBC.
Nothings better than sitting down with a cuppa and watching a new cam video
Yes about raven ! Also jungle run I genuinely believed the kids got stuck in that monkey at the end of the episode forever if they didn’t catch the golden monkey statue 😂😂😂
Love your videos man, keep up the great work!
Cheers cam had a terrible day easy jet cancelled my flight and lost my bag this has immediatly made my day better cheers lad 😂
My guilty pleasure was Teletubbies! Robot Wars was incredible every Friday night, it was one of very few shows we'd sit and watch as a family, now there's an American version called Battle Bots. I couldn't stand Chuckle Vision or Mr Bean but I think that was an age thing as I was a teenage when Chuckle Vision came out, my younger on the other hand would piss himself laughing watching those two shows and I never got why.
Have you seen the Teletubbies make-up collection from Glisten cosmetics? I'm so tempted by the Sun Baby hand mirror 🌞 Missed opportunity not to do NooNoo make-up remover though!
@@EzraSprouts no I'll have a look now
I'd honestly forgotten I'd ever seen that show where they count up the tin-foiled objects. It's interesting how many things you can recognise without knowing you remember them.
I love how as kids, we all genuinely believed that children were being killed in these games and we were just chill with it. 😂
Chucklevision and Tracy Beaker were the pinnacle.
As someone who does art and is called Lucy I feel incredibly called out 😭
God the Raven was my childhood, I remember enjoying my Saturday mornings watching that show, and it has aged to some degree but it is so nostalgic for British kids
Shiny Show and Story Makers were so good 😭
We all know Raven is the GOAT!
#letthechallengebegin
I don't know if you can tell but Wayne cramp in the cramp twins is voiced by Tom Kenny, the guy famous for giving Spongebob's voice, when Wayne is angry it's reminiscent of SpongeBob's high voice
I remember feeling so bad about my artwork from this sort of thing, but looking back at them 10000% they were done by the parents!!
I always remember though one really huge piece done by a 13 year old (so may have actually been done by him) and he'd drawn all these horses running down to a river and it was awesome - but he got disqualified from whatever competition it was (may have been Blue Peter) because it was more than one page.
I was in a crowd shot with a banner in Robot Wars series 8 Episode 4.
Bit late to the party. My fav shows as a kid were.
The queens nose with the magical 50P coin.
Goosebumps
Arthur.
and had to endure this show was Tweenies with my adoptive sister.
I now have many regrets and feel like a traitor to my country, because after I grew out of CBeebies I moved onto Nickelodeon, which is an American program. Despite being a young adult now, I might binge watch CBBC to see what I missed out on. Also I’ve come to realise that there was no host on Nickelodeon unlike BBC shows, and it was just random paramount episodes and films put together, where BBC shows were their own thing.
Young Dracula, Trapped, 50/50 and when I was younger, Bear in the Big Blue House was on my goated list of children’s tv
You should react to how kids' shows have changed since we were younger
SMart was such a good show when I was a kid, but then I found out what happened to Mark, and it distorted my memory of the show. The only other memory I have is how to draw Ribbon framing 🎀
RIP Mark Speight
i am a gorgeous donut
fun fact: i was in a drama/theatre group when i was like 8-11 and we got a lot of opportunities to audition for things like raven, copycats, dick and dom etc. basically they didn’t want boring kids on it 😂
ps. i still say “give yourself a shiny” almost daily from the shiny show
I have every episode of this show on dvd still to this day
Raven and Jungle Run were the bomb back In the day 😂
