  • Giving ‪@Rigs__Rigs‬ another shakedown drive and found the vibration issue when it's all said and done shouldn't be too hard to resolve.
Also ran over to my buddy "Mean Gene's" (aka ‪@flingndirt_UT‬) to help with a transmission install. I helped the day before with my harbor freight press to swap the gears. Good times in the garage.

Love the old truck for sure. They just want to run and be used! Good luck in your search for the next truck! Thanks for the kind words. God bless you and yours as well my friend!

You and I are looking for the exact same projects. 60’s -70’s, ran when parked etc. lol. Love the old Ford trucks mostly. I’ve found most of mine on KSL luckily. You might recognize both of my current projects which I found on there. Btw what did you figure out with the running rich problem on your 79? I have a 79 I’m working on that’s having a lot of the same symptoms yours had. Except mine will backfire when cruising around 40mph. Ugh. Any help is appreciated.

Yeah we are in competition on some of these. You’ll definitely recognize the one I just picked up last week. Videos are about a month away at this point though.

Yeah it looks kind of familiar. We love these old trucks. We have videos scheduled all the way into June so far. lol. But your videos are much better and way more helpful. I’m still learning. 😉

Thanks man! I’m so far behind on editing! I’d rather just be working on the trucks than sitting at my computer. 🤷🏼‍♂️

@@troysgarage ya no joke and I don’t imagine it’s cheap to build where you live lol

Not only is it expensive there's so many rules. The largest I can build is a 26x26 with 12 foot side walls. I need 14 foot walls to put a full size lift in. I can't imagine having to answer to an HOA on top of the city regulations. NEVER would I live in an HOA!!!!

@@troysgarage ya I suppose hey. I’m glad I live rural no regulations. They do make some low profile hoists for roofs as low as 10ft but with trucks etc it’s not the best especially if your building new

@TKsGarage405 yeah it just makes me sad is all. 😜 It would still be better than working off Jack stands though! Gotta keep it in perspective.
