- Patina Blue 1972 Ford F100 EP-1 Getting it home and cleaning it out #f100restoration
Full of mouse house and droppings, this thing STANK to high heaven! Used a large Whiffer Zapper (www.whifferzapper.com) #whifferzapper knock down the odor enough to stand working on it.
This bumpside 1972 Ford f100 has quite a bit of rust on the interior.
Removed the whole interior down to the rusty floorboards. Making a list of parts to buy to get this ready to flip.

I love these old trucks and I would even love to own this one just the way it is I been looking for one for a long time it brings back memories of me my dad with my old f150 I had and wish I still did can't wait to see more videos and see how she turns out GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS
This truck will be for sale when I’m done with it. Want to ensure it goes somewhere it will be loved! 🙌🏼
@@troysgarage I know if I have the money it would definitely be loved and taken care of there hard to find and I miss my old f150 and wish I still had it just at the time my wife and me was married for a year then she got sick and I sold my truck to her uncle thinking I could buy it back unfortunately he sold it before I even knew he was going to sale it
@@addamsaddams4461 ouch!!! Keep the dream alive. You may need to find one that not running and work toward getting it on the road. There’s always a way if you want it bad enough!
@@troysgarage I will and I have been looking just around my area there hard to find unfortunately and I did find one that needs alot of work it has all the parts to put back on inside the cab and bed and has been sitting in same spot for several years under a tarp that's falling apart but they won't sale it but I am still looking and I know someday I'll will find one even if it needs work I can work on the old 70 models just the newer ones have way too much junk that I causes more of a headache and I really older ones was way easier and cheaper and had what you really needed not a bunch of high tech computer junk
Hey man it’s better shape than that 66’ ya had, good one
Love it man. Going to be cool!
Thanks Dave! I’ve got some other cool stuff in the works too. I mean it’s no chassis swap and burn down the barn…. Hahaha
My bel air had the same coolant on top of the engine problem. There was too much coolant in the system and the overflow port was clogged with junk. So when pressure built up the coolant was escaping past the hose clamp onto the engine.
Thanks for the info. I’ll check that out for sure.
55 degrees is freezing for this Arizona dude! It probably fell through the floorboards.
Hahaha. It’s a dry cold so it’s not so bad! 😜🤘🏼
From everything I see on that truck it is a Sport Custom...all of the exterior trim, tailgate panel, and interior door panels ...if not, someone went to an awful lot of trouble to make it look like one.
That’s what I was thinking too. But why would the VIN say otherwise. Kinda odd. But either way this thing is sweet!
I hope you're going to do something with the rotted floorboards.
Cut out and weld in new. Cab mounts are shot too. Stay tuned. This is gonna be awesome!
Nice find it looks to be in way better condition then you made it out to be. If it was me and I planned to resell it I’d paint it. 3m makes an insane gun you will paint like a pro and summit racing single stage is like $100 a gallon. I wish I took better videos when I did mine. We didn’t have a clue and the paint itself turned out amazing
I hear what you are saying, but to make it "right" it would take 100's of hours of body work. There's enough dents and dings that it would look bad to have a shiny paint job without hours and hours of sanding. I'm not willing to do that for a truck I don't plan on keeping. I'll put this level of effort into Midnight Maroon, that's the truck we are keeping in the family.
@@troysgarage probably not as bad as you’d think. Mine was one of the worst trucks I’ve ever seen. Just bondo in the small dents, primer and away you go. We made some mistakes on mine for sure mostly tiny dents where the bed curves at the top and that was because poor lighting in my old shop. Still looked good and I made good money on resale after I drove it a bunch
I recently acquired a 1972 Ford that looks like an exact replica of yours! From the body to the interior to the Sport Custom decal; however, mine says "Ford 250" on the front fender decals, so I'm intrigued as to whether yours says the same (I couldn't quite make out what yours said).
I'm interested to see the work you do on it. Your engine is in a way better condition than mine is and I've got quite a bit more rust that I'll have to figure out, so I'm very intrigued as to how you're going to fix it up. Thanks for sharing and I'll keep an eye out for future videos on this truck!
Awesome. More details and work on this has already begun. Behind on editing.
Actually, RUclips decided not to be so anal, and as long as the music is not being sourced by you but is coming from the environment you are in, they've decided to be not so stupid about it. Thankfully.
I’m not willing to risk it cuz they can change the rules again anytime. 🤷🏼♂️
