When there is no "me", there is only Undifferentiated Being. When there is no "me", there is no feeling of "other". Identity, which is conceptual and inherently limited, no longer arises.

Very true I was in this state yesterday I felt amazing all day after having a very low and depressing few days prior to yesterday. Been doing kundalini yoga every day for over a month now and been having these big shifts in energy's weekly some days very low and some days are in bliss. I live in LA and have to work in Hollywood around lots of dark beings so I have been empathing some heavy dark stuff lately. Very grateful for the blissful days. Merry Christmas everyone.

Also... when you're in that state, the suffering of the world crushes you, doesn't it?
It hurts to the point of tears. And it's the most beautiful, sweetest, and deepest pain you've ever felt. And then you finally understand the words of the Lord Jesus Christ: 'Forgive them. They don't know what they do.'

Thank you for being so precise and human in your description of that state. The imagery you use is spot on and helpful.

I understand the pleasure of feeling the bliss of oneness with everything, but doesn't the risk of feeling the pain and suffering of everything outweigh the benefits? Is there a way to mitigate it? Also, how can one protect against getting that super inflated ego you described?

I'm not Adya, so please excuse the intrusion and feel free to ignore me.
The pain and suffering you feel when you see the world struggling is the deepest and sweetest pain you'll ever feel. It breaks your heart. It shatters your very being. And it *lasts* for a long time. It changes you at a fundamental level, too, because there's no denying what you've just seen: nobody *told you* about that. You didn't have to *believe it* because of some dogma: you've *seen it* for yourself.
If the word of a stranger on the internet has any value to you: it's worth it. You wouldn't want to mitigate that. It is the sort of experience that remakes you.
As for the super inflated ego, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you *think* you are something, anything, everything... Well, you're not.
Once you *see* what Adya is describing, you immediately realize that there's nothing to do, nothing to want, nothing to think, nothing be. There's just pure being.
