I believe there is was a way to work towards this spiritual awakening for some it may work for some it may not. I spent months practicing stoicism and seeking truth as well as only speaking the truth, seek like a child as you know nothing. Realize you have an ego and that ego consists of all ypur habits bad or good. Fix them. Stay happy and calm through everything and realize there is no reason to get upset about something you cannot change. I read alot such as (plato,Aristotle, nietzsche, carl jung, marcus Aurelius, jesus, etc etc) i took tips from great men who spent their entire lives dedicated to these subjects and tried hard to livey very best all while being content and peaceful about it. The wonder of a child to explore the unkown will bring beauty to your life no matter if you become awakened or not. It doesn't matter, what does is find8ng your peace even within your suffering. Live to all, thank you ash!
Thank you for pointing out the uniqueness of the individual and that each is called on this path through their individuated consciousness that is like no one else's. 🙏
Oh Adyashanti, how I recognize these instincts to begin with - and now at the end, or last phase of my life, i have come to this being connected to the real, meaning completely in a unique way.
Thanks Adya x. For me (and it took me many years to realise this) the uniqueness of my particular spiritual yearning/expression rarely looks 'spiritual'. It looks and feels to me simply... human. With the whole quirky gambit of sacred, profane, funny, serious, normal and not-so-normal. Its overriding 'motion' AND 'settledness' is that it has no need for comparison. Plus it's more like something I watch rather than something I do!🤫☺
That insanity, I have always been different and confused by people, maybe I am autistic or something, but it has become very pronounced now, the more at peace I am, the more I notice the constant complaining, back stabbing and tail chasing, like watching someone CHOOSE that over inherent peace, but I suppose that is now my little cross to bear, maybe an opportunity to know better that which resides beneath that nonsense in others and so myself 🙏
If for some reason (let’s assume) you had to fully isolate yourself from everyone you have personal relationships with (family, friends, loved ones) to continue to make these videos, do seminars, or do any hobby that you enjoy, would you do it? Or would you give up all your work and hobbies to remain in your circle of personal relationships? You have to choose one or the other. So you could either find new work and new hobbies, or new relationships. But you can’t go back to the old ones, ever, depending on which direction you choose. Oh and as a second question, to be answered independently of the first, let’s assume that leaving your family would cause them to suffer. In several ways, but most importantly financially, would your answer change?
Assuming these involve a transformative experience, the person that would or would not do something before the transformation is not the same as the one after. I think this is the point of having a spiritual instinct, it makes such choices possible even though the choice that leads to transformation would not be made from the pre-trans perspective. (not to be confused with the pre/trans fallacy although there's some relevance) Also, individuals only has a very small range of choices, the rest is how life responds.
If you had a sick family member who needed 24/7 care and you couldn’t afford to pay money for it, would you completely stop making these videos and taking to people and just do that? If that’s what was required of you to sufficiently care for them. Or is that an example of you not being yourself, and this outlet of making videos and doing seminars is needed to be expressed to fully be you?
There are a lot of possibilities in between that might be excluded by reducing it in terms of time and money. I know someone who is getting needed surgery that her insurance doesn't cover by one of if not the best in the world and the doctor is doing it even though her insurance doesn't cover it. That's not even in the context of community which we might imagine is available to Adya. But of course this kind of media offering doesn't replace actual community.
@@markc5960 that’s a one time thing though. What about choosing to dedicate your life to caring for someone else for the rest of their life, and by doing so leaving absolutely no room or time for anything else.
Also the two are not mutually exclusive. It's possible inspiration for teaching or something like spiritual teaching comes out of that caretaking situation. Maybe it won't be nearly as many videos or just take a different form like writing, which may end up being more impactful.
@@KK-sg5gl then the devotion itself would be the teaching, and the few who witness it unmediated will be the only ones benefitting, though perhaps more so than a mass audience.
Such an interesting man. I feel so “home” when I listen to him.
Love Adya. What I love about the path is that it is mine, unique to me

You explained this yearning that I have had and still have as instinctual. Spot on. It's just there!

Muchísimas gracias!!!!❤🙏😊
Can totally relate. ❤

Wonderful expression indeed. Felt that human part of me, more so now than ever.
Thank you for this 🙏

Very beautiful
That took me awhile to understand
