I’m one of the people who don’t like BR540… I recently got a sample of Sunset Hour and I was so disappointed because it DID remind me of BR540. I don’t get the sweetness in either perfume. There is a recognizable sharpness I can’t get past. Wish I could smell what you all smell!
I cannot fathom anyone NOT loving BR540... that and Delina actually inspired my incredibly expensive pursuit into the niche world to find equally magnificent finds... 6 months in... I have nearly 100 niche frags (nothing compared to the veterans... but fairly impressive considering the short time-span... or horrifying if you contemplate that level of obsession)! 😆 Anyway- Brompton Immortals IS gorgeous as is Sunset Hour! For whatever that is worth.

How about a video on seasonal fragrances in the same family?. For example, if you like Baccarat Rouge 540, here are some fragrances you might like for spring, summer, and autumn. Or likewise, evening out versus everyday wear in the same / similar family? Like BR540 for evening? Here's something to try for day time.
It’s probably the ambroxan. Our noses are different and some are anosmic to it. Our preferences are also driven by experiences and associations (e.g., hospital or dentist smell) and it evolves. I used to like BR540 but have stopped liking it since I started smelling it (and its dupes) everywhere - it’s no longer as special as it used to be for me. I still appreciate its artistry and keep the remains of my bottle at the back of my wardrobe. Perhaps someday I might like it again.
Late to the party I know, but if you're really into your BR540 I recommend getting your nose on The Irreverents by Ex Nihilo - as it's closer to BR54 than Brompton. It is also incredible, though also only available in Harrods.

Great job, I love you how you compared the scents to outfits, and times of day. Any you are such a beautiful girl, well spoken, all the key ingredients that I love to see and hear. I wonder if you have any idea that you might consider addressing in the future. I've always looked for a white flower, Llike gardenia,, flour de lis, With citrus, , etc. but I can't seem to find one that has enough bottom notes to support it through the day. I'm 63 and have had this sent in my mind, (and nose), for decades.. From what I've learned, (from Paris, to NY, and in-between), there needs to be something to hold it together to be long lasting???? You would understand that more than I. but I do know that I do not like Patchouli, and also Rose gives me tummy aches. Lol. thank for listening, but it would be great t understand why certain mixtures don't work or are not long lasting. I think you''re great. Good job!

I was given a Brompton Immortals tester after purchasing the Ex Nihilo Temptation Travel Set at Harrods and fell in love. My boyfriend got me a decent which I am using only on very special occasions. So glad you found this gem too ❤
Ex Nihlo Brompton Immortals is stunning ,for me it starts with the Ylang Ylang then I get a bit of saffron not a lot then the Bulgarian Roae shines and resting on patchouli and a bit of vanilla. Harrods sent me 20 samples and this perfume last I mean days. Performance 8/10 is amazing and silage is excellent 10/10 I try perfumes on my shower curtains or lounge curtains before I wear some of my fragrances to see how I like them but this is stunning. The price point for me😢😢😢😢 a story for another day however this is great art.
I was wearing my sample of For your love yesterday and my 13 year old daughter told me I smell like a “grandma”. A more polite way of saying it would be “mature” or “retro”. 😅
okay, this madness must stop lol - I have purchased Capeline, Glossier You and For Your Love and it's all your fault! on a serious note, I have been saving up to treat myself and bought all of these 'blind' - Glossier You is my new signature scent (having used Molicule one since launch) but OMG - Capeline is off the scale wonderful - I must stop buying now lol

I randomly sampled Nightology - Vivid Velvet today at the store and was taken aback by how similar to BR540 it smelled. More so than Cloud, to my nose.

I’ve only ever smelled someone wearing BR540 once, so I would argue it’s not as mainstream as we think it is. Mainstream amongst us fragheads, more like.
Hot take: I despise baccarat rouge, and all of the existing dupes. I not exactly sure why, but to me it’s smells dirty and sweaty. There is this one note that overtakes the whole scent, and it’s too powerful and cloying for me. It might be the amber, but I have other scents with amber that don’t bother me at all. I wish I liked it because everyone raves about it, and there are so many affordable dupes now, but it just never worked for me. If anyone has the same experience, please reassure me, I’m not crazy right?
100% HATE it but has zero to do with amber for sure. It’s something in the DNA it completely turns me off 🤢& same with Delina & her friends. I cannot stomach it. Worst part is smelling it EVERYWHERE! And btw, I also abhor smelling like everyone else😂Glad I’m not alone here & as much as I love Jus, once I clicked & could read the whole title to this video, I left this comment & didn’t watch😂 I’ll be back when it makes sense😊
