Baccarat Rouge 540 like other great perfumes PUTS me in the right mindset :) I rarely wait to be in the mood for wearing something. The scent can help me feel in a special way, if that is what I want. BR 540 is truly amazing and unique. I feel so fortunate to have it in my collection.
This fragrance gave me the same feeling that Shalimar and L'Air Du Temps did with me when I first wore them, I love it. It works so well with my skin, it doesn't overpower at all, it's delicate and it sparkles. When I was a kid I loved the look of crystals and chandeliers, and this fragrance evokes that aesthetic. I found it at a good price at a 1.2oz size on Selfridges.
This is the most unique scent . I remember first words I said when I sprayed myself with Baccarat I couldn't smell it at all ! But after couple of minutes it hit me,the most beautiful and the most unique scent . It is worth every penny in my opinion💚
I tried Oud Satin Mood! It’s verrrrry nice! But I feel like it’s not very “me”... like I’m impersonating someone else when I wear it! I keep trying it on to see if I change my mind. If anything I might wait until fall/winter. The Miami summer is right around the corner and I feel like I might prefer something lighter :) I bet you get a tone of compliments on the Baccarat! Xx

So my signature scent was Chanel no perfume ever measured up to it till i smelled this beautiful scent. I'm a Sandalwood, Burberry, Musky scent kind of gal. I found Ariana Grande Cloud and realized i loved it and left my Chanel in my drawer and leaning more toward Ariana Cloud...something about that myserious scent. After reviews it led me to this perfume, i saw the price tag 😲. So i ordered a sample waiting anxiously for my perfume and already knowing that this will be my signature scent. I received it in the mail today tearing my package apart i sprayed it on. Oh my god 😍 Im over the moon, its everything i imagined it to be this is my diamond now, im in love, where has this beautiful scent been my whole life? I've been searching for this scent for a long time and now i found it. I love different and Unique and Sexy and mysterious and this is definetely it right here. ❤ Update: I cannot stop smelling my arm. To me, as a man, when I smell it on a woman, it really reminds me of the perfume from the 80s, Jivago 24 K.! Every woman that wore it smelled terrific! Love the scents!

It has an additional note of bitter almond in it which gives it a little warmer, more ‘Gourmand’ feel. Everyone always comments & asks what I’m wearing. Yes! My FAVE of all time. It is a signature scent for a STRONG ALPHA, so much so that if I’m just having a lazy day that I won’t put it on as it doesn’t match my current appearance! Lol. Everything you described about it is spot on!

Finding a really good scent is really a wonderful little pleasure in life. I love that approach... I think that’s the way to go! Quality over quantity, I’d rather have a small number of fragrances that truly move me than a bunch of fragrances that are nice... but I don’t LOVE. This scent is just exquisite! Xx
The best EDP and the best EDT. It is not floral, it is sweet, it’s a gourmand. It is amazing! Actually all of MFK fragrances are so so good. In my opinion it is a sweet soft scent that can be worn any time of the day for any occasion any season. I find Beyoncé so off putting that the comparison doesn’t make sense at all. It definitely starts sweet! Fragratica has it classified as a floral oriental, so I went with that :) it’s great for absolutely every occasion I agree! Substitute Beyonce for a different strong female personality lol
So I don’t really have a signature scent but baccarat is so amazing and oud satin mood is great for the colder months. Since we’re in Spring I wear Baccarat, pure poison, Alien, or Donna born in Roma. Oh and Delina😊

Really? I also love and own both, but for me the Extrait is not as sweet and also not as long lasting as the EdP, bit more masculine, but love it almost like the EdP, the magic of the EdP is just not that potent for me...
I could definitely see this fragrance being great for men too! What was the response like from other people? I've been trying to imagine smelling it on a man... I am in the minority. I purchased a sample from a reliable online source and wore it today (89 degrees) in south Florida for a restaurant lunch. My husband and friends said nothing and I could barely smell it on myself even a few hours later.
I've been tempted to by the travel set, which is three small sprays for $140. so, after watching this, I'm going to go ahead and order it! Sounds like a fragrance must have!

Try NU by Yves Saint Laurent. I get stopped all the time by BOTH men and women, asking what I’m wearing. And, I feel the same way as you do whenever I spray this. It’s a bit pricey too, around $200.00 but it is soooooooo worth it. ♥️

It long last days on clothes and pillows and on everything that contact, even if I sniff on the bottle just for fun, after minutes I can smelled again and again as have be still on my nose... so: it was the best acquisition in the last 10 years... I collect fragrance and baccarat EDP, the extrait version and Aventus by creed are my top 3 and it always makes an impression and raked in compliments. The Extrait version leans more on the masculine side to me even tho I feel like they both can be unisex.
Hi Erin! My favorite scene lately has been Delina by parfums de Marly. It lasts all day on me though it isn't heavy. Demi Rawling, an Australian perfume influencer introduced me to this fragrance. It costs just as much as baccarat rouge 540! I need to return to Neiman Marcus to try BR540 again.
I absolutely love Baccarat Rouge. I didn't like it at first, but then whenever I wanted to put on fragrance, I kept reaching for it for some reason. It's so nice! A bit sweet, a bit woody, a bit salty, a bit of everything at once. I like the... contrast in scents that make this perfume hard to describe. No other fragrance seems to do this.
Like you, I also LOVE fragrance! That sounds beautiful and I’m definitely going to try it on if I can find it at a counter. My signature fragrance of all time is Chanel #22. Type 2 Gurl Yep go to Fragrantica.com and look up the reviews for both and you will see a lot of people who agree. Of course MFK is a lot more refined it damn well better be considering the price but the price makes it unattainable for a lot. You can also just type in a search on You Tube a lot of fragrant reviewers have made videos comparing the two.

Yes, please wear it. :-) The fact that you like it a lot, in my mind that means that wearing it would be an expression of your tastes; that is, you would be representing an extension of your taste, and, essentially it would be an expression of a part of YOU by wearing it. :-) You can always underspray the amount if you don't want to be too "loud" in certain situations. I only have a small decant and just wear it occasionally as it is expensive.

Hi Erin, like you I am vey late to the BR540 party, but I have fallen deep down this rabbit hole... I ordered a travel 11 ml of the EDP and really like it... today I ordered the 3 x 11 ml Extrait de Perfume set, so I can compare the two and see which version I like better and want to get the full size bottle of... I seriously hope I don't end up "needing" both versions 😂🙈 My current signature fragrance is Carnal Flower by Frederic Malle, which also lasts forever on my skin and clothing... you really should try it since you love white florals and Gucci Bloom... I am sure you will love it, I also have Gucci Bloom in my collection and really like it.
I was at trader Joe's about two wks ago. This girl was wearing ofcourse this fragrance and Burberry bag. She smelled so good. I was like omg what are you wearing?? And kept literally following her lol and she told me Bacarat and now am here trying to hear all about it. Lol Cant wait to get it! Smell so nice with a hint of cigar? And jasmin? I have bought Sunset Riot and I have samples from Baccarat Rouge 540 EDP and Extrait de P. They do smell really alike. Yet I feel Sunset Riot projects more and you smell more the Safran, i.e. it smells more pepperish. I would say that it smells less sweet than EDP and smells closer to Extrait de Parfum. Thoughts anyone ?
I have gotten that this doesn’t smell sexy on me, however, I ALWAYS get that it smells good. It can come off a bit manly, but it is a unisex fragrance and is also why I get the perfume instead of the Extrait. Nonetheless, this is a wonderful scent. When I wear it, it lasts for two days. May last longer but I shower it off
I received this perfume today and gotta say that I'm not impressed and not sure that I like or don't like. I sprayed it like 6hrs ago and still not fond of the smell. I thought maybe the first smell is like that and will change on my skin in a few minutes or hours, but no, still this weird smell that I can't really describe. The only thing i can tell is that the smell is really synthetic. Like others I don't get the hype, which is what got me to buying it in the first place. Retuning my bottle once I get the chance. 😒

I was in a nail shop a few months ago. And I kept smelling something that i thought was a candle, it was the best thing I have ever smelled in my life. I didn't see a candle, but i kept smelling it. Finally i realized it was the woman sitting next to me, the scent kept wafting in and out so i didnt realize it was her. She was a nurse, told me that she was shocked that i could smell it because she put on a small amount of it like 9+ hours ago. She gave me the name, i researched the price and almost fainted (ITS EXPENSIVE AS HECK). This perfume is almost a car note, but dag nabbit i want to wear this if i ever get married, when I'm dead, and when i enter the after life. You wont need another perfume as long as you live after you purchase this.
Love it! That's how it goes.... you don't even have to be in a fragrance department you can just stumble upon it naturally and it hooks you! Right now Neiman's is having a huge beauty sale so it's worth looking into :) xx

Amazing scent, I sampled it at Harvey Nichols in Dubai. I also checked love Francis kurdijan Roses. Overall, baccarat is luxury in a bottle.

Really? I also love and own both, but for me the Extrait is not as sweet and also not as long lasting as the EdP, bit more masculine, but love it almost like the EdP, the magic of the EdP is just not that potent for me...

It long last days on clothes and pillows and on everything that contact, even if I sniff on the bottle just for fun, after minutes I can smelled again and again as have be still on my nose... so: it was the best acquisition in the last 10 years... I have 134 frangrances bottles and I'm sure this one is The Best!!💖

I collect fragrance and baccarat EDP, the extrait version and Aventus by creed are my top 3 and it always makes an impression and raked in compliments. The Extrait version leans more on the masculine side to me even tho I feel like they both can be unisex.

Hi Erin! My favorite scene lately has been Delina by parfums de Marly. It lasts all day on me though it isn't heavy. Demi Rawling, an Australian perfume influencer introduced me to this fragrance. It costs just as much as baccarat rouge 540! I need to return to Neiman Marcus to try BR540 again.

I absolutely love Baccarat Rouge. I didn't like it at first, but then whenever I wanted to put on fragrance, I kept reaching for it for some reason.
It's so nice! A bit sweet, a bit woody, a bit salty, a bit of everything at once. I like the... contrast in scents that make this perfume hard to describe. No other fragrance seems to do this.
Was given a sample by my wife's friend that works at Nordstroms. Wonderful fragrance.

Type 2 Gurl Yep go to Fragrantica.com and look up the reviews for both and you will see a lot of people who agree. Of course MFK is a lot more refined it damn well better be considering the price but the price makes it unattainable for a lot. You can also just type in a search on You Tube a lot of fragrant reviewers have made videos comparing the two.
Burberry Her is also verrrrrrrey similar. More so than Cloud by Ariana Grande.

Yes, please wear it. :-) The fact that you like it a lot, in my mind that means that wearing it would be an expression of your tastes; that is, you would be representing an extension of your taste, and, essentially it would be an expression of a part of YOU by wearing it. :-) You can always underspray the amount if you don't want to be too "loud" in certain situations. I only have a small decant and just wear it occasionally as it is expensive.

Hi Erin, like you I am vey late to the BR540 party, but I have fallen deep down this rabbit hole... I ordered a travel 11 ml of the EDP and really like it... today I ordered the 3 x 11 ml Extrait de Perfume set, so I can compare the two and see which version I like better and want to get the full size bottle of... I seriously hope I don't end up "needing" both versions 😂🙈 My current signature fragrance is Carnal Flower by Frederic Malle, which also lasts forever on my skin and clothing... you really should try it since you love white florals and Gucci Bloom... I am sure you will love it, I also have Gucci Bloom in my collection and really like it.
I was at trader Joe's about two wks ago. This girl was wearing ofcourse this fragrance and Burberry bag. She smelled so good. I was like omg what are you wearing?? And kept literally following her lol and she told me Bacarat and now am here trying to hear all about it. Lol Cant wait to get it! Smell so nice with a hint of cigar? And jasmin? Idk something so intriguing. Its a show stopper and def better than my chanel mademoiselle which has been my fav for yrs!
I really like the object! And I really want to buy it. But It is so expensive to me that I buy. However I will buy it whenever. Because certainly It is driving me crazy.
I have bought Sunset Riot and I have samples from Baccarat Rouge 540 EDP and Extrait de P. They do smell really alike. Yet I feel Sunset Riot projects more and you smell more the Safran, i.e. it smells more pepperish. I would say that it smells less sweet than EDP and smells closer to Extrait de Parfum.

I have gotten that this doesn’t smell sexy on me, however, I ALWAYS get that it smells good. It can come off a bit manly, but it is a unisex fragrance and is also why I get the perfume instead of the Extrait. Nonetheless, this is a wonderful scent. When I wear it, it lasts for two days. May last longer but I shower it off
I received this perfume today and gotta say that I'm not impressed and not sure that I like or don't like. I sprayed it like 6hrs ago and still not fond of the smell. I thought maybe the first smell is like that and will change on my skin in a few minutes or hours, but no, still this weird smell that I can't really describe. The only thing i can tell is that the smell is really synthetic. Like others I don't get the hype, which is what got me to buying it in the first place. Retuning my bottle once I get the chance. 😒

I was in a nail shop a few months ago. And I kept smelling something that i thought was a candle, it was the best thing I have ever smelled in my life. I didn't see a candle, but i kept smelling it. Finally i realized it was the woman sitting next to me, the scent kept wafting in and out so i didnt realize it was her. She was a nurse, told me that she was shocked that i could smell it because she put on a small amount of it like 9+ hours ago. She gave me the name, i researched the price and almost fainted (ITS EXPENSIVE AS HECK). This perfume is almost a car note, but dag nabbit i want to wear this if i ever get married, when I'm dead, and when i enter the after life. You wont need another perfume as long as you live after you purchase this.
Love it! That's how it goes.... you don't even have to be in a fragrance department you can just stumble upon it naturally and it hooks you! Right now Neiman's is having a huge beauty sale so it's worth looking into :) xx

I just got it! But I don't know how many times to spray it and where it is best to spray it. My skin is dry so it doesn't hold perfume a long time. And I don't want it to be overbearing :(
